I was thinking of doing fruit puchis too since fruit are colorful.
But pastries and desserts are usually beige or brown.

Sorta. I have a base so they all look the same, but altering the colors and drawing in different things is what takes the most time and detail.
Don't worry about it, there's no rush. The puchis will still be here.
