Both Charli XCX and Chvrches demolished all of central Florida. THE best pair of shows i've ever been to since Carcass.

i'm impatiently waiting until Lights tickets go on sale at midnight

I didn't notice one but I was standing in an awkward place, never really got a good look at his guitar. They played In Keeping Secrets front to back though, it was ******** awesome.

I saw Intronaut, Silver Snakes, and The Great Wall a week ago and it was pretty cool. Plus it was Intronaut's 10th anniversary show and they had special guests like their original guitarist who's also in Impaled, a guest drummer from Impaled (i think it was him), and the bassist of Tool. They performed The Reptilian Brain down to every last detail and it was amazing.

I also Cannabis Corpse, Mammoth Grinder, and Inanimate Existence earlier this month. Pretty fun show. Then at the begining of the month I saw Pallbearer, Solstafir, and Mortals and that was a perfect show.

The show I have next is Neurosis, Tragedy, Author and Punisher, and Kowloon Walled City next week so that'll be a great show to end the year with.

Saw Amon Amarth with Skeletonwitch (sans vocalist - laryngitis?) and Sabaton a month or two ago on part of their Deceiver of the Gods NA Tour. It was the first time they'd played in that venue and, in fact, the first time they'd played in that state, so it was nice to see a decent turnout and a warm welcome for them. I was mostly just there for Sabaton, but Skeletonwitch is nice when it's just instrumentals. As for Amon Amarth, as I usually feel about them, I could take it or leave it. They play too loudly to hear the actual music. That seemed to be the general consensus among the crowd.

I saw a middle aged woman get pulled from the mosh pit with head trauma, too.
