Wisdom Tooth Question

when they tell you to not use a straw or suck on anything however long they tell you...LISTEN! you do NOT want dry socket. you think the impacted tooth hurts...this will be so painful...and there is still the possibility that you could get it. but if you start feeling any pain in that area, get to the dentist asap as they can pack it with clove oil and it will stop it before it starts. so yeah...no sucking on anything...pens (or pencils), straws, candy...trust me...it sucks

After three days you'll be mostly recovered. If the tooth has already erupted it's a lot easier than if it hasn't. Keep the appointment, you should be fine.
