Anyone else who suffers a Mental Disorder?

I haven't seen anybody for it yet but I looked online and it turns out I have all the symptoms of depression. (Yay?)

I also get performance anxiety, but that's not a mental disorder... or is it?

Depression can be by itself, or tied to other things.

That's more of a phobia.

i've been diagnosed with adhd, as a bipolar, clinical depression. the latest they've tried to pin on me is schitzophrenia (i am not schitzo). i think that adhd is crap. i am NOT clinically depressed, i am fine. and i am skeptical about being bipolar. i am was supposed to be on lithium, but i have been off medication since april last year, and glad. but i do have manic episodes... i guess i know i'm bipolar, and that it is a really severe condition. i have an up coming appointment with a new psychiatrist to be re-evaluated and put back on medication because i went to the hospital with an 'attempted suicide' (if i wanted to die, i would, but i don't...) the thing was, i wasn't depressed, i was manic. mania is the worst part, i think, not the depression. i go totally crazy, but at least i know it is my motto. i have people who know about it and who can hold me down and wipe away my tears and stop me from pulling out my hair and all of that fun stuff. i know i need help. the problem is admitting it fully enough to get real help, like from doctors. that's where my problem lies. i am just really scared. so, i guess fear i a biggie too. i dunno. i'm just a loser that needs to breath easier i think.

I am medicated though it does little to erase my positive symptoms. Damn Zyprexia to hell... stare

Not to plug anything overtly, but you may want to check out GAIMI guild. Thats the Gaian Alliance for the Mentally Ill. YOu dont need to have a illness to be a member (like me for example) but it's a great source of information.

You're right that Psychiatrists come up with "fancy names" as an "excuse" to... do what? That's right, TREAT the problem. So, that actually works towards your goal of making people STFU about their problems.

And you're one of those people who think mental disorders are some weaness of the will? So, any part of the body can stop working properly except the brain, right? Think about that one for a while. Don't worry, we won't hold our breaths while you do.

My uncle has a mental disorda and last night he tried to commit suicide because of these kids on he street threating to kill him. and this was all ova a foot ball he gave back to them the kids wer 0nl 12, 14 ,15

I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, some signs of schizophrenia and maybe some bi polar. I've been on lots of meds and in a couple hospitals. I'm pretty messed up.
