I love it though. It's just not my thing, since I'm not really a gimmick freak xD I'm more of a classic goth or a cybergoth. Depends on my mood :3
I do need me a nice pair of goggles though.
It's so funny that so many people have never heard of it, even though it's not really a new thing.

One thing I don't get though. Emo's would have to have a total make-over to become steampunk. I doubt they'd even like the style.
Same goes for punks and goths though, even though they would probably like it more.
