There are about 50 brave men and women who work for the Tokyo electric power company who have volunteered to stay behind in the doomed Fukushima reactor and try to avert a disaster that could potentially kill or seriously injure millions.
These people are not executives or the CEOs of the company they are just ordinary workers who have decided to do the extraordinary and stabilize the damaged reactor and prevent a radiation leak in the full knowledge that they could receive a fatal dose of radiation and die.
