While the card game's declared prize for each round's victory had been a tad disconcerting for the Fulguran, Mia couldn't deny that the notion had interested her greatly. On multiple levels, this was an exercise of great value to her, and to the perfect opportunity to explore various aspects of the summit. Having remained out of round one for the purposes of learning just what this form of gambling entailed, Mia had been eager to jump in once round two started. Rosalita's choice for the first kiss of the game had come as no surprise however. Mia wanted her turn at this game of chance.

Disappointed that Lady Luck hadn't extended her hand to her on the second round, Mia had instead been pleased to see an example off cultural difference. Tessrinka and Eric's agreement proved to further excite Mia, despite no kiss. This was not only a chance for her to explore affection, and the action of a kiss, but as well the ideal situation to observe how each culture, or at least each representative would handle such a game's rules upon victory. Keiko winning the third round served no differently than the previous round to excite her. The woman she knew the least about at this point, had her chance at claiming a kiss. Having been the one chosen to receive it however, had elicited a soft outcry, not in protest but in shock. Mia had accepted, Keiko claiming the fulguran's first kiss. Shock aside, the woman had sunken back into her seat, eyes wide as she stared ahead, mind racing a mile a minute as she tried to wrap her head around the experience. Hollow, yet wonderful.

Mia had grown immediately determined to earn a chance at a second kiss, though her mood dropped noticeably as Vitus returned from his visit with the Queen, and it heard it was her turn next. Not only was the loss of being able to participate in the round frustrating, but her Fiancee's return meant that her second choice for a kiss was now off limits.

Once returning from her meeting with Queen Zelda, thoughts preoccupied, Mia returned to the game. While more than eager to rejoin, Mia had difficulty focusing for the first half of the round, though managing to secure herself a win by the end. Taking a kiss from her third choice, Mia had once more ended up in a pleased, though confused state afterwards. A great deal of pleasure coursed through her, though curiosity at the difference between Keiko and Rosalita's kisses took priority for her. She had taken the time to look to both the child and Lucio. While Adam seemed too distracted to notice the game's events, Lucio's almost pleased look only furthered Mia's confusion and state of wonder.

Eric's position as 'prize' and winner in the following two rounds, served to create a set of assumed standards on the art of kissing for Mia. Men it seemed, were far less into the activity in comparison to the women. Though the following round's winner seemed to debunk her theory fairly swiftly and definitively.

With the game over, Mia remained seated minding her own business for the most part as she considered the events. Cheeks flushed, a result of watching Lucio's victory and in turn reflecting upon her own actions, Mia was at a loss of what she could, or would say to anyone present. To her dismay, she had learned far less from the experience than expected, remaining frustrated that it only brought more questions to light about her fellow representatives. Lucio and Eric most specifically.

She took a long moment to watch each of them from the corner of her eye, although attempted to avoid eye contact with either subject of curiosity as best she could. As a general response, Mia was content to remain in her seat, and avoid the direct gaze of any of her companions. This changed however as Mia turned to watch Vitus, rather directly, carrying an expression of worry. For as long as she had been present, Vitus hadn't kissed, or been kissed. Would her fiancee have kissed her, given the chance? Had he been involved in the victory of a round while she had been away? The thoughts caused her face to grow red once more, though she resigned to remain silent over the issue. Fiancee or not, he was free to do as he pleased, just as she was.

The prize suggestion for the card game seemed popular enough. Rosalita wondered if everyone was eager to try and establish their couple status or if people were using the game to try and find a spark with someone without offending anyone else. Admittedly that would have been interesting if not for her commitment. Which she had no reason to break and every reason to keep, one reason being the small spark she hoped was very real.

Winning the first round was a pleasant surprise to the Aeran who was far from an avid card player. Instead of using the game as an excuse to kiss someone else, Rosalita opted to use the game to further cement her pairing. Giving her fiancée a deep kiss, she almost broke it with a chuckle when she heard her son’s giggling behind her.

Adam took to Rosalita’s lap with his new dragon friend. She sighed and patted his head, content to let him help her. Lucio seemed happy enough with how things were going.

When Tessrinka won, Rosalita wasn’t too surprised she was trying to build a bond with the small dragon. Geneva was essentially Eric’s child. As important as it was to Rosalita for Lucio and Adam to get along, it was probably just as important for Tessrinka and Geneva to get along. The Aeran greatly appreciated that Tessrinka seemed to understand this and not just equate Geneva to an unimportant pet or something. When Geneva rejected and Eric propositioned his kiss instead, Rosalita found it odd and unsurprising Tessrinka wanted to wait. She suggested the prize… Rosalita didn’t comment though.

Round three was interesting. Keiko seemed to respect whatever agreement she and Jack had made. But Jack seemed secure enough to let Keiko kiss anyone. Maybe Cryoans weren’t as stiff as Rosalita thought. Of course, the Obrizusian asking to kiss a girl didn’t surprise Rosalita as much as it might have the others. Mia’s reaction might have been cause for concern. She seemed so just… horrified by the event.

In a sweet move that Rosalita found endearing, Eric asked Adam for a kiss and clearly didn’t expect how readily the young Aeran was willing to do it. And then how quickly he left to go and play some more. Rosalita chuckled as she watched him fly off and continued the game. Watching the others win and seeing their choices was as much fun as winning had been. She was also enjoying some playful competitive banter between those who were more social.

With the return of Vitus, Rosalita was more than curious how he would take the game. His willingness to join wasn’t surprising, though Rosalita found his initial win to be annoying. Was he planning to just test everyone? If he won again and picked Rosalita should she let him out of it or like Keiko make him stick to his guns? She knew what she wanted to do, but wasn’t sure her fiancée wouldn’t get upset.

Of course the force of luck gave her another winning round at that time. Rosalita again chose to kiss Lucio. Given her past, she felt she had a bit to prove to the Undan. Under normal circumstances she would just tell him he had to get over her past or leave, but the summit wasn’t normal and she was willing to go an extra mile to make it work.

When Mia declared Rosalita as her choice for a kiss, Rosalita glanced to Lucio who seemed amused by the idea. ‘Oh, so he’s one of those kind of guys,’ she thought as she shook her head at him. If that was something he liked, she didn’t mind giving him a small show and hopefully giving Mia a better impression of kissing than Keiko had. For Mia’s sake, Rosalita gave her what she thought was a warm, but innocent kiss.

Rosalita was curious about the reason Mia seemed to check Lucio and Adam’s reactions. But she let it slide and teased Lucio when she sat back down.

With the next victor as Keiko, she showed a bit of understanding and kissed Eric’s cheek. Rosalita smiled at the Obrizusian and remarked on her understanding. To which Keiko shrugged and returned to her playfully competitive banter.

When Eric was the next victor, Rosalita curiously awaited how he would get out of actually kissing anyone again. She did not hide her surprise when he selected Jack as his prize. Men kissing men wasn’t strange in Aer, but Rosalita had noticed none of the men had kissed each other during the game. Jack didn’t appear happy with the decision, but was a fair sport about it and let Eric kiss him. Rosalita began to wonder how Lucio would react to a man kissing him. Would he kiss another man?

There wasn’t much time before Lucio was able to claim a kiss. Rosalita expected him to pick her, however she didn’t expect the pull into his lap, the hand on her a**, or just how much the kiss made her forget they were in the middle of a card game. Until Link’s throat clearing distracted her. The kiss broke and Rosalita just smiled at Lucio. The Aeran wasn’t sure why he chose to be so physical with that kiss, but she wasn’t complaining.

Rosalita laughed off Keiko’s tease and took her seat beside Lucio. She called Adam over to her and told him Geneva had to go sit with Eric for the meeting. Of course neither Adam or Geneva wanted to be separated, but once reassured they could play again after the meeting, Geneva went to Eric.

Motioning to her hand-maiden, Julia, Rosalita requested something to drink and some snacks for Adam. Julia happily went to retrieve the food for the boy.

While Eric was against the idea of betting with kisses, the others had to agree to it with varying degrees of excitement. Kisses were special and not something to be shared with strangers.

Letting his irritation go, Eric settled back into his chair to start the game. Eric was not surprised when Rosa claimed her victory kiss from the Undan. That did not mean that he was expecting it, he had just not thought about who anyone would request a kiss from.

He was caught off guard when Tessrinka asked for a kiss from Geneva. As Geneva did not look pleased at the idea and Adam was not releasing his hold on her, the Doctor offered to take the dragon's place. He could not stop the mild irritation that fluttered across his face for a moment when Tessrinka asked for their kiss to be private. He agreed to let it be more private as he quickly let his annoyance disappear, but not without thinking 'She should have thought of that before she suggested betting for kisses.'

The game continued and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. That was one of the reasons why he jokingly asked for a kiss from Adam. He was surprised when the Aeran boy kissed his cheek before flying away with a silver dragon on his tail. With a laugh, he turned back to the game.

He chuckled softly when Vitus tried take back his request for a kiss from Keiko. As the game proceeded Eric did for a moment wonder if the other woman preferred woman or if the men here were just undesirable. Lucio so far was the only representative in the game to the recipient of a request for a kiss.

Not even the round after he thought that, Keiko won and wanted a kissed from him. He smiled and looked at her fondly for a moment as she was pulling away from where she had kissed his cheek. He made a mental note to talk with her soon, as she was more observe than he thought. He was not sure what she would be like after she apologized for her earlier behavior, but he had a feeling that if nothing else, they would be able to talk about medicine.

When he won the next round, there was no rhyme or reason to why he asked Jack. The other man seemed mildly surprised, but he did not freak out about it. After the brief kiss on the lips, Jack seemed mildly uncomfortable and Eric made a note to apologize to him later. He had not meant to make the other uncomfortable.

Although after Lucio won the next round, one of his goals may have been to make the others uncomfortable. While the Ingenium did not stare at them, he also did not avoid looking at them. He did not mind how heated the kiss got, if fact he was happy that they were able to find such passion for each other in such a short time. He just hoped that they would be able to keep that passion as they moved on throughout the years.

A kissing game wasn't exactly what Jack had expected with the suggestion to play cards, and the suggestion had come from the Terran of all people. Perhaps Tessrinka wasn't quite as reserved as she pretended. Still, he supposed it could be interesting. Besides, they were all about to get married, might as well have a little fun while they still could.

Rosalita winning the first round seemed unsurprising somehow, and neither did her choice of target. They certainly didn't seem shy about showing off how committed they were though. Tessrinka requesting a kiss from Geneva, on the other hand, was not what he'd expected, though the dragon didn't seem particularly interested. That was probably for the best. Giving a dragon a kiss might be interesting, but if the dragon tried to kiss you back... Eric volunteering to stand in was good sense in any case, though he wasn't sure what to make of Tessrinka wanting to postpone it. She was the one who'd suggested this whole thing. What, had she just wanted to watch?

This train of thought was sidetracked by Keiko asking him if he minded her kissing one of the other women, to which Jack could easily tell her to go ahead. He liked what he'd seen so far of Keiko, but had no claim on her beyond this event's tenuous assignation, and the whole point of the summit was supposedly for them to decide who to marry. It would be a bit ridiculous of him to be getting jealous already. It was interesting to watch Mia's reaction though. That might well have been her first kiss. Eric choosing to kiss Adam was interesting as well. Probably a way to avoid having to choose another target in front of his assigned fiancee. Those two seemed to be feeling some commitment already as well, though a bit different than Rosalita and Lucio's interpretation. Adam's reaction seemed fairly typical for an Aeran, though the good doctor didn't seem to have meant it as seriously.

At this point Vitus returned, Mia was led off, and of course Vitus won the first round he played. His request to kiss Keiko and the following exchange brought an amused smile to Jack's face though. One who steps on thin ice just to see if it will hold often ends up with frozen feet. Rosalita won once more after that show, and chose to kiss her fiancee again. She was certainly making her point, but it kind of defeated the purpose of the game in Jack's opinion.

After that Mia returned and took Jack to see the queen, but the first round after he got back Eric won and asked to kiss him of all people. Perhaps the doctor was feeling a bit less restricted with Tessrinka gone, but it certainly caught Jack a bit off guard. Still, rules were rules, and Jack accepted. Kissing another man was...strange. Not that much different from kissing a woman, he supposed, but Jack didn't feel he'd ever be interested in taking it any farther.

The last round went to Lucio, who chose to once again kiss his fiancee, though this one was decidedly more spirited. Had something happened while Jack was gone? Kissing your fiancee was all well and good, but this seemed to be getting into it a bit too much. By the time they were done Tessrinka had returned and it was time for the general audience. Jack was a bit disappointed he hadn't won even one round, but that was the luck of the draw for you. It was probably easier not having to choose who to kiss in front of everyone anyway.

Keiko sat back in her chair, ready to kick everyone’s asses at cards. The game and prizes seemed perfect for testing out any remaining doubts she had in her sexuality and seeing if there was some magical romantic spark. Nonsense, but she wanted to test it out anyway. Tessrinka was a genius for the suggestion.

Admittedly, she was disappointed in Rosalita’s decision to kiss Lucio. How exciting the game would be if they only ever kissed their promised spouses. Really, if the Aeran as going to play so morally, everyone would have to.

Tessrinka’s decision to kiss a dragon was weird and just no. Though her request for a private kiss was interesting. Did she want to rack up I.O.U’s and then kiss everyone privately? Maybe she was more devious than Keiko thought.

As Keiko won her first round, she refused to be prudent and only kiss Jack. Though at least asking him seemed polite enough. So Keiko turned and asked Jack if he minded her kissing other women. He didn’t, and so she wanted to kiss Mia because Tessrinka seemed like she may have a heart attack if Keiko kissed her and Rosalita was a bit too dark for Keiko’s taste.

The kiss was alright, though not one Keiko was eager to repeat. Experiment over, Keiko would only choose to kiss men from then on.

Keiko shook her head as Eric asked for a kiss from Adam. These people were just not getting into the spirit and the mood of things. Then again, that was their decision to be boring and safe. Keiko thought she saw a fellow competitor who would take the kissing more vicariously when Vitus was brought back. However, Mia was escorted out and she had been in the spirit of kissing others.

And then Vitus asked for a kiss from Keiko as his prize. Which she had been happy to give, until the tease tried to back out. After demanding he follow the rules and kiss her, Keiko was treated to a very pleasant kiss. Not a true love spark, but if she and Jack didn’t work out she had a good runner up.

Then Rosalita won and Keiko commented on her linear choice, but Rosalita just shrugged the comment off and continued on. Thankfully, Mia won the next round and Rosalta had to kiss someone who wasn’t Lucio… and proved she was not at all shy. At least people were getting into the game’s spirit.

Not certain if Rosalita would kick her a** and having two other men to test first, Keiko won and kissed Eric on the cheek. Though she had really wanted to kiss Jack, he wasn’t in the room. She could probably kiss him later anyway.

Eric and Jack’s kiss wasn’t as entertaining as others and Keiko reaffirmed that she wasn’t really into guy on guy. It was on the same level as girl on girl. The game was proving very educational for her.

But then came the kiss that made Keiko’s cheeks set a flame and turned her head. Really, she hadn’t expected the Undan to be so—so—she didn’t even know what to think. There were public kisses and then there were movie kisses and private kisses. That had been a mix of the last two.

Keiko just shook her head and looked at Jack when everyone was back in the room. It wasn’t the best time to start a conversation, but she did have questions. Sighing, she looked back to the table. A drink sounded good, so she asked her hand-maiden for one. She would find her name out soon.

After having a more personal conversation with the Queen, Vitus finally felt there was a better grasp to the situation. Less guessing and more footing in what he should consider. Surprised by the rather friendly atmosphere in which he returned to, the Prince gave a reassuring look at the Fulguran before she was taken away next.

He spectated the others in silence after being informed by his ever helpful personal servant, though another also helped relieve some hesitation in his decision. Well 'dat's news. Mia wanted to live a little while I wasn't looking, huh? Vitus took his seat at the table before being dealt his own hand to play with. Now that he felt free from obligations, the only thing left to ponder was whether he truly cared to win a kiss from any of the women. He had a mind to respect the obvious couple wanting to put effort into their growing relationship, and leave Lucio and Rosalita to winning the other over. He knew where Rosalita stood, but only had Lucio's reaction to her son's presence to learn more about the Undan. Vitus caught the signs of a man who knew how to treat a woman, but how deep that actual interest was for Lucio had yet to be determined in the Prince's eyes.

Eric's reputation did more than enough to garner respect from Vitus, and more so with the resolve to move past what the Pyroan's involvement in the war had done to him. Were it not for that, Vitus would have had an ample opportunity to push Tessrinka's buttons for thinking she could command him not to settle his score with Jack. In hindsight, he knew the grudge should have been abandoned long ago for self-growth and the Terran was in the right... but right and wrong mattered little to the selfish.

Leaving Keiko as the only choice for the Prince. As if decreed by some deity, Vitus won the very round he joined. But... he didn't care to use the woman against Jack. The Prince wasn't that selfish. Still, he didn't have to kiss anyone, either. If nothing else it was an opportunity to test the two. He hoped it would at least irk the Cryoan.

Everything backfired, but not in an entirely bad way. Keiko insisted he follow through with the kiss, which he delivered to the best of his abilities without going overboard. A stray thought he considered in the moment... Despite that, he caught only a hint of amusement from Jack when he tried to call it off beforehand. What Keiko's thoughts were he could only guess, but he was confident the woman wasn't disappointed.

As the game carried on, Mia returned. Vitus didn't feel guilty as the two were now even in his mind, but how could anyone truly develop commitment to the other when a game like this was being played? Once again, Vitus felt the whole arrangement was pointless as far as marriage went. Mia deciding to win a kiss from Rosalita only empowering that belief. Perhaps the girl's kiss from another woman earlier birthed an epiphany for her. Vitus could only feel amused at the sight, risking a glance at the Undan for a read. Why he thought Lucio would feel any different than himself was beyond the Prince seconds later. What wasn't there not to like? Other than perhaps the hypocrisy of this game. And Jack's displeasure from kissing Eric. Maybe I shouldn't be so friendly wit' him after all... But why 'de Cryoan and not 'de woman next to you? He found it strange the good doctor wouldn't kiss Keiko, but willingly chose Jack.

All of his small thoughts going in circles came to a halt as Lucio decided to leave an impression for the group, one the Siren didn't mind helping with in the least as they lost themselves from the world. For whatever reason, he couldn't feel bothered by it. No, Vitus was all too familiar with reason being lost to passion. But it did make his heart ache for the past. Thankfully, that smart-mouthed guard's timing was impeccable as he interrupted the pair. Vitus would have simply drowned himself with the closest wine had it gone on any longer.

Looking to Mia while he had the chance to observe and comment, he asked the now seemingly shy woman one simple question. "Learn anyt'ing about yourself from 'dis? Because you look like you got a lot on your mind now." He said quietly, a playful smirk in his features.
