Welcome to Gaia! ::

The second Astrid punched out of work all her jewelry went right back on, and then she hurried right out the door, ignoring the leer her boss sent her way. One creep gone…too bad she was stuck with the second one still.
For the rest of the day Astrid came up with all sorts of errands to do in attempt of maybe losing her fey stalker, but no matter how dull the chore, or how long she dragged it out the stupid fey just wouldn’t leave her the hell alone!! Why the hell did faeries feel the need to make people like her utterly miserable?! Didn’t they have better things to do with their lives?!
Apparently not!
Unfortunately Astrid came to the final errand of her list, and the most important one as well. Food shopping. Though she made quick work of the shopping it would be very clear what theme her grocery basket was taking. All the food in it was either very cheap, or easy to make or both. There was lots of rice, and pastas and frozen foods. Any produce or meat was either reduced price or on a very good sale. It would be clear that this girl had to be careful what she spent what money she had on.
When she finally left the store with her groceries she began to slow trip home, silently hoping this jackass wasn’t going to following her all the way there.

Meki just stared at the seal in front of her. Still not getting over the fact that it had approached her. And actually seemed happy to see her.
So they usually do that? Just random approach people? Maybe she should look into that later.
“Um….” Before she said anything else she bit her lower lip. No, no freakin’ way was she going to reduce herself to talking to a while animal. It wasn’t like it would be able to understand her anyway, or respond. So what was the point? Only crazy people talked to animals like they were people! And while she was many things Meki was NOT crazy.
It was then the wind decided to pick up enough to cause her hair to brush away from her face just enough to show the badly bruised skin underneath.
No wonder the girl was so depressed.
With all this crap she was putting in her body, her foul mood was understandable. With every artificial food she placed in her basket, the fae prince shook his head and tried to talk her about it. Of course, she did not listen and purchased all the junk anyway.
Waste of money, it was.
"A beauty like you should be eating the freshest and most delicious food possible. Not this... gelatin whatever it is," Seraphin commented.
And yes, he did follow her home. He managed to get inside before she could lock the door.
"Oh this is pathetic."

AT the sight of bruise, Thatz's eyes widened and he shoved his face into hers, trying to get a better look at the damage done. All that could be seen in his expression was the utmost concern as a tiny sound left his throat.
Who would do such a thing?
Throughout the whole shopping trip Astrid had to resist the urge to scowl. The stupid a** wasn’t the one paying for her food. And produce could really add up in price, to the point where her poor wallet would not be able to take. HE wasn’t the one paying for her food (not that she would WANT one of Them getting her food anyway!) so he should shut his damn mouth.
"Oh this is pathetic."
She tried to lock him out….she had really really tried. But she just hadn’t been fast enough. Now she had to deal with his damn commentary on her little apartment as well…Stupid fey.
It wasn’t her fault she had a shitty paying job that could only afford this place for now, and all things considering she got off pretty lucky. There was no mold or damaged walls or ceilings, everything was perfectly functional, and it had just the right amount of space for just her. And oh, it would be clear that she was the only one that lived in this small place. As if the single bedroom wasn’t evidence enough.
Without a word to the fey prince she carried her bags to her cozy kitchen and starting to put away her food. Before she put the chicken in the fridge she took out a clean tuba ware container and put the meat in this as well what seasonings and sauce she had around to marinate for lunch the next day. Throughout it all the girl kept her attention focused on her tasks, ignoring the running commentary her unwanted guest was spewing at her.
When was he going to take a damn hint?!
And was he going to leave at all? Or was she going to have to put up with his unwanted company all night? If so it looked like she would be foregoing a shower and sleeping in her clothes….

As the seal thrust his face into hers Meki quickly jerked back in surprise, her pretty green eyes widening as she stared into his own eyes.
No….she had to have imagined the concern and worry she saw there. There was no way that was what she was seeing.
Maybe she was hit in the head harder than she had thought, yes that was it.
"You do realize you're making it more obvious that you DO see me, right?" the prince commented to the pretty mortal as she refused to shower or even dress in her pajamas. "Those jeans look extremely uncomfortable. You're not going to sleep well tonight, my dear." The prince stretched his arms above his head, his eyes never leaving her face.
Oh yes, this one would do. If he was correct, a child between a fae and a Sighted human would wield halfling children who would never age or feel the sting of iron.
This one was pretty enough to warrant his sexual attention. Her hips also looked like they could easily bear children.
She would do just fine.

Thatz let out another sound of concern as he tried to read her expression.
If he could only speak to her without scaring her off!
This was so frustrating. What was he supposed to do?
Gently, he laid his head across her lap and nuzzled her hand in an effort to comfort the young human girl.

"C'mon, Tessa. You can't not go to the winter formal." The silver haired girl pointed a french fry in her witch friend's face. The fae's pretty face was now a rather pretty scowl as she scrutinized her shy friend. "Just because you don't have a date isn't reason to not go!"
It was strange to see these two together. They were both so different.
While neither girl were human, Seraline was the more abnormal of the two.
She was the Unseelie princess, sent by her parents to Evernight's most prestigious private school for a human education.
And even with her glamour, the girl was a beauty.
She was short, but she was slender with delicate curves on her hips and breasts. She wasn't exactly voluptuous, but she was oh so perfectly proportioned. Her legs were long despite her short stature, and they ended with the most delicate feet. Her skin was luminously pale, and her straight silver hair fell to her hips. It swished around her face like water. Her eyes were a bright blue, and lined with thick black kohl, they gleamed with beauty.
Unlike Tessa, Seraline had many offers for the formal. But she wanted none of them.
She rather go with her friend.
"Come on! If you don't go, you're going to regret it later in your life!" Seraline reasoned before she stuffed the fry in her mouth. She spoke with a full mouth. "We can go dress shopping."
That's when she heard the ring of the diner door. The fae princess glanced over to the door, and could barely hide her grin.
There stood a dragon, and beside him was him was the infamous Robin Goodwin...
The King of the Tricksters.
And she was absolutely in love with him.

"You gotta admit, the blonde was pretty damn cute," Drake commented to Puck as the two teenage boys slid into the booth, the table top greasy from the last occupants' meals. "I need to figure out her name. I think I'm in love," the dragon sighed to his much, much older friend.
Puck was practically ancient.
Drake never forgot to remind Puck of that.
The dragon was still sighing out his thoughts of the beautiful Kaye... when he saw the Unseelie princess.
"Oh look, Puck. One of you."

Raselaine didn't know what to do.
What could she possibly do to help herself in this situation?
It wasn't like she could tell the humans around her what the hell was going on. First of all, they thought she was a horse (as if she was one of those stinky mortal animals...). Secondly, unicorn lips weren't exact made to form words.
The pure white unicorn fidgeted in her stall, the deep purple head halter chafing her skin as she tossed her mane. It was stupid how the humans couldn't see the wonder that was right in front of them. Years and years of searching for the mythical, and they had a unicorn in their midst.
Of course, if it wasn't for that Unseelie knight, she wouldn't be here, would she?
She pranced in place.
Why oh why did she have to gain the attention of a damn winter faerie? It wasn't her fault that she was naturally beautiful (something all unicorns had in common). Or that she was virginal.
Or that she was Roiben's cup of tea.
It was her fault he was angry though... he wanted her to be his mistress, and she had said no. So he placed this curse on her. She could not gain back her human form or do any magic until she finally accepted him as her lord and master. But, she was better than that.
She would not be any man's toy.
She was her own person.
But... that was getting harder and harder to believe the longer she was kept in this stable with the horses surrounding her.
Which reminded her... the human boy would soon come by to groom her.
Damn she was itching for a brushing....
Oh no... no no no. She would not start thinking like that!
She was not some mortal equine!
She was a proud unicorn and would remain so!
She didn’t like the way he was looking at her, she really really didn’t. But of course as the Unseelie prince kept eye contact with her she kept her eyes unfocused on him, making it look as if she were looking right through him as she went to the small bathroom to brush her teeth and removed her piercing. Not matter how much she would like the little extra sense of security she knew there was no way for her to sleep with them on.
After removing her makeup she took a moment to stare into her now more youthful looking face. Well, thanks to her now visible dark circles it looked as if she wouldn’t have to pretend to be tired. Between her usual every day stress and the added stress of her new pesky stalker she felt as if she were going to pass out then and there.
Once ready she made her way back to her bedroom, and after a moment of thought she took off her jeans and put on a pair of flannel pants then removed her bra and crawled into bed.
Here was hoping her uninvited guest actually let her get some damn sleep tonight.

Meki just stared down at the seal on her lap in confusion. Now it was acting like a tame happy puppy or something! This could not be normal.
But still…it was acting cute.
With a shaky hand Meki hesitantly pet Thatz.

Oh god…here she went again trying to talk her into changing her mind about the formal. Ever since Tessa told Seraline that she wasn’t going a few weeks ago the fey seemed to feel the need to change her mind. It wasn’t just because she didn’t have a date either (though it would have been nice to be asked…). No, she knew her parents would not approve of “a stupid and pointless waste of time” such as a school formal.
They wouldn’t let her go. And if she snuck out to it she would get in serious trouble. Yes, her parents were that strict and it sucked.
The cute witch was extremely thankful when her friends attention moved to one of the new arrivers. Perfect timing too, if she kept her train of thought on shopping Tessa knew that she would be doomed. “He’s cute,” she said as she noticed which boy she was staring at. “You should go talk to him.”

Puck had to resist the urge to snicker at his friend’s constant chatter about the new girl. Though at the same time he was very relieved. In the brief interaction they had with the blonde she seemed genuinely sweet. A bit awkward and nervous, but sweet. And after the last b***h Drake had had relations with he could use the change of pace.
“Okay okay,” Puck said chuckling. “I admit it, she was cute. Not my type, but cute. And you should have asked while we were all still in the office, but noooo that idea never seemed to cross your mind,” the prankster teased, but then his tone grew more thoughtful. “Did you get a feel on her aura? It was….different.”
"Oh look, Puck. One of you."
“Hmmm?” In response Puck merely turned around to look at the girl who had been staring at him since he entered the diner.
Thatz cuddled with the human girl as she began to pet him. He'd stay here with her... as long as it took to make her happy, he'd stay.

“He’s cute. You should go talk to him.”
The ruse worked. The formal was momentarily forgotten by Seraline as she shook her head in her friend's direction.
"I can't. He's a Summer Fae and I'm a Winter Fae. He'd never let me approach him," she stated. "Besides... that's Robin Goodfellow. He has a reputation with the girls."

"She's cute," Drake grinned at Puck. "Very much your type."
To say that night was hellish would be an understatement. Despite being exhausted Astrid was unable to fall asleep due to a certain jack a** going on and on with his pervy and crude comments and touches. But at some point she had by some miracle fallen asleep.
Unfortunately her wake up was far from pleasant. Today was her day off, meaning she did not have to get up early for once. But in her stressed state last night she forgot to turn off her alarms. So she got to be woken up to her load alarm clock at a hellishly early seven am. With a grumble she reached out and practically slammed to alarm off before rolling on her side and curling up in a tight ball. Stupid ******** alarm clock waking her up on her day off…..
It was then in her half asleep state she started to register to stabbing pain in her lower stomach that only caused her to curl up in on herself even tighter, which caused her to feel a familiar damp stickiness between her legs.
Oh god…no….please god no…not now of all times!
Eyes opening in panic she peeked under her blankets, only to be greeted by the sight of an angry stain in her pajama bottoms and sheets. Letting out a stream of curses she tossed off the blankets and forced herself out of bed. Of all freakin’ days to get her period and it had to be this one?! Grumbling she grabbed herself some clean non-bloody clothes and awkwardly walked towards to bathroom to take a damn shower, she didn’t care anymore if the stupid faerie followed and saw her nude or not now. She just didn’t ******** care!
Once she was all showered and cleaned up she stripped her bed of its sheets so she could wash them as soon as possible to get the stains out.

That day Meki stayed at the beach longer than she usually did, only when the sun was starting to set did she get up and dust herself off of sand to get ready to head back to her hellhole of a home.
If she was lucky both her parents were passed out by now.

Tessa listened as her friend explained the dilemma. Honestly she never got the whole thing between Summer and Winter, they were all fey after all. Why couldn’t they all just get along? But she would keep that to herself.
“Ah, alright then,” she could tell she really wanted to go over there to the Great Prankster, it was very clear in her eyes. But, she wouldn’t push her friend to go talk to him. Especially since she just said he liked the ladies. If Seraline wanted to try to go with a player, she wouldn’t force her to not do it, but she was hardly going to push her to go to him either.
No, Seraline deserved a guy better than that. Deserved someone who would be loyal and commited. Not some d**k who just stayed with girls to get his next lay.

Puck forced himself to look away from the pretty Winter girl. While their two courts were not constantly at war (there were times of peace between their bickering’s, feuds and wars), there was still always a tension between Summer and Winter. A tension that had been there even before he was born. And sure, there was no specific rule or law to keep fey from the opposite courts from intermingling, it just wasn’t done.
The tension just went too deep for anything but maybe a rare fond acquaintance or friendship to form. And with how their kind was even that didn’t always last long.
“Can’t,” Puck said to his friend with a shrug. “She’s Winter.”

Adam was right on time when he entered Raseline’s stall with all the supplies needed to groom her. He had been working this job for years, and rarely took time off. He enjoyed his work to the point where he rarely considered it work. More of a fun activity than anything else.
A smile was on the handsome young man’s face as he approached the beautiful “horse” who was his next charge. “Hey there pretty girl. Ready for a brushing?”
"I still don't understand how you human women can bleed for five days and not die."
Seraphin stared at the amount of blood on the bed as the human girl began to pull the sheets off. Honestly, shouldn't she have passed out by now with that amount of blood loss? It made no sense.
He watched as she struggled with getting the sheets in the laundry machine. He only shook his head.
"Too late, that's going to stain."

Thatz didn't want her to leave. It was evident by the way he began to follow her through the beach as she started to make her way out of the area. The seal dragged himself after her as far as he could, but the land wasn't meant for him in this form. He let out a cry of despair as she got too far away from him.
She was going towards danger, that much he knew. And he wouldn't be able to help her.

Seraline sighed before she glanced over at Puck.
It really was rather stupid how their courts were always in constant battle with each other. Honestly. What was the point? Their true enemy was modernity, and all they were doing with this rivalry was killing one another off. They should be joining forces and keeping each other safe instead of... this.
Seraline looked down to her food, her fries now growing cold in the red basket they came in.
They looked rather gray now.
"Besides, I doubt he'd be interested in me."

"Can't. She's Winter."
"And when the hell does Puck play by the rules?" Drake raised an eyebrow. "Seriously, you want to talk to her. It's pretty damn obvious. Just go over and say hi. She didn't look hostile whatsoever. Who knows? Maybe she digs you too."
Drake looked over to the girl again.
She seemed nice enough.
"If you don't do it, Puck, you'll always be known as a coward."

Raselaine's head was hanging down, her forelock hung low over her eyes, when she heard the human adolescent enter her stall. He was the only one she was fond enough to not bite.
"Hey there, pretty girl. Ready for a brushing?"
She snorted.
Sure. Whatever.
Raselaine's eyes followed the human as he got himself set up to groom her. She was careful not to stab him with her horn.
That would be less than ideal.
"I still don't understand how you human women can bleed for five days and not die."
As she worked Astrid subtly watched Seraphin out of the corner of her eye. If she wasn’t so pissed off by him she would have found his reaction amusing. He may be fey, but he was still a guy.
"Too late, that's going to stain."
At that her amusement grew, though she did not let it show. Oh how little he did know. After five or so years of having to deal with this period bullshit she, like many girls have master to art of removing period stains. Instead of rushing right to the washing machine she walked into the kitchen and started to scrub at the stain with warm water and lots of soap until the bulk of the blood was washed away. Once satisfied she went back to the washer and sprayed stain remover onto what remained of the stain before tossing it into the washer.

As the seal followed Meki found herself looking over her should as she walked, her confusion clear. If she didn’t know any better she could swear the thing didn’t want her to leave, but that had to be her imagination. “Um….sorry little guy….I gotta get home,” was her only response before she picked up her pace.
Soon she would be out of Thatz sight and well on her way back home.
Little did either of them know they would be seeing each other much much sooner than they would have thought.

"Besides, I doubt he'd be interested in me."
At this Tessa just met her friends eyes, her expression serious. “His loss then. Besides, you deserve much better than some ladies man.”

"If you don't do it, Puck, you'll always be known as a coward."
At that Puck’s green eyes narrowed as just for a moment, his features looked more fey than human. “Watch what you say Burns,” Robin warned. “I may be many things, but a coward is not one of them.”

Adam just smiled as he approached the mare and got to work brushing her.

((Sorry Adam’s is so short XD ))
Seraphin watched, amazed, as the stains literally began to disappear from sight. He drew closer, if only to see what sort of sorcery this little human used to get those blood stains out.
Soon, she tossed the sheets in the washer and began pushing those annoying little buttons.
How did humans stand them?
Beep, beep, beep....
So infuriating.
Seraphin deftly hopped on top of the washer, balancing on the balls of his feet as he crouched, looking at her. Before she could pull away, he grabbed her by the hair and pulled her close, his mouth closing over hers in a passionate kiss.
Only when he was done did he let the human girl go.
She tasted divine.

Thatz tried so hard to follow, but there was a point where he could no longer even see her. The seal let out a wail of despair that the other selkies returned for him, making a chorus of sorrow that would make any human walking by weep with despair.
Defeated, the selkie dragged himself back into the ocean and let the waters wash the sand away.

“His loss then. Besides, you deserve much better than some ladies man.”
Seraline only shook her head before allowing her eyes to meet Tessa's again.
"With my luck, I'll be married off to some cruel Unseelie lord who was a harem in the servants' quarters." Her smile was small, and her eyes bright with unshed tears.
She wanted to stay in the mortal world... this was where she grew up.
Unlike her twin brother, she spent most of her time in the human world, and honestly, she was glad of it. She saw what happened to Seraphin... how could a brother so kind and joyful suddenly turn so spiteful and arrogant?
The court must have soured his heart.
Seraline took a bite out of one of her fries, the food forming a lump in her stomach after she swallowed it. It lay heavy in there like an anvil.

“Watch what you say Burns,”
Drake raised his eyebrows dubiously as his friend began to indirectly threaten him. Oh, he's seen Puck like this before. It was only when he was agitated that he would allow his human disguise begin to slip, and it looked like Drake had really pushed his buttons.
Good.
And unfortunately for Puck, Drake was not afraid of him whatsoever. If, for whatever reason, there was a true battle between them, Drake knew he could hold his own against the older boy.
There was a reason fae feared dragons.
“I may be many things, but a coward is not one of them.”
"Then why are you letting some unspoken rules keep you back?" Drake asked with a mocking grin. "You clearly are interested in the girl. She's interested in you. But you won't even look at her for more than a second because she's 'Winter.' Also, may we bring up hte fact that you leave girls left and right because you're AFRAID of getting attached again? That's a coward's mark, Goodfellow. You're becoming a coward in your old again, I fear. Can't even say hi to a girl."
With that, Drake stood up.
"I'll see you later."
And he left.

Raselaine's ears twitched with ecstasy as the human brushed her coat. Oh, it felt good to feel those bristles against her skin....
Okay, she liked it. Not like there was anyone nearby to judge her except for this boy, and he didn't know.
Her lips lightly pulled at his messy hair before she snorted playfully.
A cry of pain escaped her lips as he pulled her in by her hair. The moment his lips covered hers she felt an uncontrollable panic fill her as she tried to wrench herself away. Though due to the grip he still had on her hair this only caused reflexive tears of pain to well up in her eyes.
Why didn’t she put in her damn piercings when she got out of the shower?! She may have been able to avoid this if she had!
When he finally released her she felt herself lose her balance as she stumbled back, her panic oh too clear on her pretty face. Unable to right herself in time she found herself fall back and slam her back and head against the door frame, and land on the floor. “ow…..”

Meki would be gone for only a few hours before she ran out of her house that evening, running as fast as her legs would carry her back to the beach.
She stopped for only a brief moment on the sand to look at the rough looking water in front of her. Oh yes. Tonight was the night. She couldn’t take it anymore…she needed it to end. With grim determination she sprinted into the sea, and kept forcing herself deeper and deeper until the water was far over her head and let herself be dragged down.
Even if she could swim there would be no way for her out of this one. No way for her to chicken and back out this time.

Oh yes, Drake knew just how to push Puck’s buttons. He really should be able to keep his cool and not let his friends words get under his skin. That was just the reaction he was aiming for after all. But god dammit he just couldn’t help it!
Fine, he’d go and chat with the Winter girl, but oh was his friend going to be in store for his own very unpleasant surprise later tonight. He would be sure about that. One did not piss off Robin Goodfellow and get away with nothing in return!
So shooting a glare at the back of his friends head he pushed himself out of his seat and made his way over to the two girls.

Tessa’s eyes were filled with sympathy as she lightly placed her hand over one of Seraline’s. Though they were not in the same boat per say she could relate. If her own parents had it their way they would be choosing who they thought was worthy of marrying their daughter. And with Tessa’s luck it would be some old, fat, perv or something equally as horrible.
“Uh….Seraline? The red head is coming over here…” Tessa told her friend. The question clear in her eyes. Did she want her to stay as support, or to need to make a “restroom break” to give her some privacy.
Seraphin couldn't help but laugh at her reaction.
"No need to be so dramatic, human," the fae chuckled. "If you weren't, your head wouldn't be against the wall right now."
The fae gracefully leaped off the washer and approached the girl. His hands went around her wrists, pinning her. He held her there, captive, and entirely his.
"I think I'll take you home today."
With that, he forced her into sleep.
When she woke, she wouldn't be in her crappy apartment anymore, but in the grand chambers of the Unseelie prince.

Thatz was swimming in the waters, hunting for some fish, when he saw a familiar figure on the seashore.
Was she really back so soon? Was she coming for him?
The momentary joy Thatz felt upon seeing the human girl again vanished the moment he realized what she was doing.
No... no no no!
With a cry, the selkie rushed towards the girl as quickly as he could. The waters were already fighting to claim her, but he wouldn't let the water gods take her. Not yet.
He swam beneath her until he had her on his back. Carefully, he began to make for his home, making sure she never slipped off.
It took nearly an hour, but soon it was in sight.
The Island of the Selkies.

Seraline glanced over to see the Summer fae making his way over to them. He really was handsome, even in this form. Seraline could see the grace beneath that lanky form, and she was sure she could detect hidden strength in his carefully measured movements.
Oooh, is that a six-pack?
A flush spread over Seraline's cheeks before she looked back to her burger.
Thankfully, her school uniform was still pristine. The white blouse was clean, her pleated skirt was still carefully pressed, and her long socks made her legs look divine. Not to mention her tie wasn't rumpled like it usually was by now.
Seraline nodded to her friend to take a bathroom break. She knew Tessa would feel awkward if Puck tried anything.
Seraline patted Tessa's hand gently before turning her gaze towards the Summer fae.

"Come on, Zane! Don't be such a wuss!" The demon known as Stephan glanced around the trees in hopes of finding his demon rival for the park territory. "Refuse to come out again and this area is mine by default!"
They had been at this for weeks now - two alpha demon males vying for the same territory. Stephan wanted it because it was the least pollution ridden spot in the city (which meant it was rather envious). Zane probably wanted it for the same thing.
"I'll burn you right now!"
Ellowyn watched the demon crying out his threats as he stalked around her former forest. All that could be visible was amusement in her eyes.
Really? Did he really think he could hold this area on his own?
The fae's eyes lingered over to the bush next to her. She was pretty sure she saw a tuft of hair in there a moment ago.
She couldn’t do it anymore. She couldn’t keep up the act of pretending not to see him(not that it did much good to begin with anyway). As he stalked towards her she tried and failed to get up before he pinned her wrists, her pretty hazel eyes filled with panic. And that panic grew even more at the words he spoke.
It was a good thing for Seraphin that he put her to sleep, because she was about to start fighting tooth and nail like the cornered animal that she was. Only before she could so much as twitch a muscle her entire world went dark as she went limp.
When she woke she was groggy enough to not remember what happened, still thinking she was just waking up in her apartment, the human girl just curled up in a tight little ball dreading the moment her alarm clock would go off. It wasn’t until she started to become more aware did she realize the bed she was on was much too comfortable to be hers…and the sheets and scent were all wrong.
It was then she remembered everything and quickly jolted upright, eyes darting around. This wasn’t good. Not good at all! Quickly she lept off the bed and tried to get out the nearest door, only to find it locked.
She didn’t even bother trying to conceal her panic, even if she considered to do so there was no way she could have. For most of her life the world of faerie was her equivalent of Hell. The one place she would rather die a horrible death instead of go to. And here she was, in the place of her nightmares. She followed all the rules her nana drilled into her head as a child, and yet still ended up here.
She felt her blood pounding in her ears, and her legs felt like they were going to give out from under her. She quickly lost control of her breathing, her breaths coming in quick pants as she started to hyperventilate.

By the time Thatz would have reached her Meki would have already been passed out, so she would offer no struggles as he tried to get her to safety.
By the time the selkie would get her to safety she would still have a pulse, though she would not be breathing. Her lips were a deep blue from the cold water. And her skin was pale and covered in goosebumps, the paleness of them would cause the new deep bruises to stand out even more so than they should be.
In short, this little human was in bad shape and needed to be helped and fast.

Tessa just gave her friend a small nod in understanding as she quietly got to her feet and excused herself to go to the rest room. She made sure to give her friend an encouraging smile before she turn to walk off.

Puck noticed the little witch leave her fey friend, and though he wouldn’t say so it was clear it was purposeful. To give him and the winter fey a little one on one time. Not that he minded either way really.
In no time at all he was at the girls table, a smile on his face. He could be completely friendly to the fey of the other court. As long as they didn’t try to kill him for a prank he may or may not have played on them or their family years ago….Which happened way more than one would think.
“Hi,”

Zane stayed in his hiding spot by the tree, a very amused look on his face as he listened to hit hot headed rival shouting at him. In the weeks the two of them had been fighting over the park it became clear that their physical strengths were more or less evenly matched. If things had been otherwise this little war between them would have been over before it had a chance to begin.
So, he was trying a new approach for today. While Stephan was shouting away at the air, he would lay in wait for the fight moment to attack his foe.
He wanted this territory, and oh it would be his. He would be sure of it.
He waited until the fire demon was near his spot before jumping and tackling him roughly to the ground.

Adam couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as Raselaine started to play with his hair. “You grooming me now pretty girl?”
As I’m lying awake I’m still hearing the cries
And it hurts
Hurts me so bad…align]

Today just was not her day….
Ever since she left the office after straightening out all her records and information Kaye went right to her dorm to unpack and settle in. Of course in the halls she got far more strange looks than she was comfortable dealing with. Same with rude comments. She swore, if ANOTHER person made some comment about her middle school esque appearance, her height, her lack of hips or boobs, or the fact she looked like a damned doll she was going to punch something!!
Her day also was made pretty shitty in the ONE class she managed to attend that day. There were not stalls free for her the change into her gym clothes was, and she had no time to wait for one, so she was forced to change out were all the other girls could see her. And of course a member of the cool crowd just HAD to see her and HAD to comment.
She was pretty sure she would be hearing all sorts of crazy rumors about how she self-harms, or get off on this kind of s**t by this evening at the latest….
Thank ******** god she only had one year left of all this immature drama to live through!
But the real icing on the cake for a shitty day was that she ended up hopelessly lost. She had been looking for the cafeteria, and had the sense to ask directions. Well, it seems like she asked the wrong person because she had no freakin’ clue where she was on campus, but something told her it was nowhere near the cafeteria…
Dammit…
Seraphin would have been there, except he had been called away on a meeting. He didn't want to leave his girl by herself, but he had no choice. And oh he had been right to want to stay.
When he came back with a tray of food and wine for his guest, he found her on the floor in shock. It was clear that she was hyperventilating.
This only brought a raised eyebrow from the fae.
Overreacting, wasn't she?
He set the tray down and circled her as she struggled to breathe. All of her iron pieces were now gone along with her mortal clothes which he had promptly tossed.
They were too disgusting for her, anyway.
He stood there, watching her.

Thatz panicked the moment he saw the state the girl was in.
Quickly he got her to shore before he pulled his seal skin off, revealing the handsome man beneath. He looked to be about Meki's age, maybe a year or so older, but unlike the boys her age, he had no acne or flab upon him.
His skin was completely smooth and his body was taut with lean muscle built over years of swimming.
He knelt by her, and listened for a heartbeat.
There. She was still alive, but for how much longer?
He pressed upon her chest a few times and blew air into her lungs, hoping it would be enough. He had seen lifeguards do this several times before, and he hoped he hadn't screwed it up somehow.
She needed to live.

"Hi."
"Hi, back," Seraline replied as she looked up at the summer fae. She was quite pretty in her human disguise, but if Puck caught merely a glimpse of what she truly looked like, he would have found her to be one of the most, if not the most, beautiful women in the world.
".... would you like to take a seat?"

Ellowyn watched the fight with some amusement.
Were they really fighting tooth and nail for a patch of park? It made no sense.
She watched as the demon that had been hiding in the bush leaped out towards the fire demon, tackling him down to the ground. They rolled around for awhile, struggling, when she saw the stupid fire demon begin to form fire in his hand.
Oh no, not that again!
"DON'T YOU DARE SET MY TREES ON FIRE!" she screeched, even though she was sure they wouldn't hear her. "YOU'LL BE SORRY!"

"You grooming me now, pretty girl?"
Why yes, yes she was.
Raselaine snorted as she continued to play with his hair, always careful not to pull.
It just felt so nice to have some company, and if only she could stretch her legs then things wouldnt' be so unbearable.

Drake had been wandering towards his dorm when he saw the blondie again.
What was her name? He didn't catch it, but damn she was cute.
Had a nice a** on her too.
Drake stopped, his hands in his pockets, as he watched the girl go back and forth, looking around for signs when there weren't any around.
"You lost, sweetheart?"
