ゴールデンボンバー was formed in 2004, and their first live was held in February of 2005. Still an indies band signed under Zany Zap, they're relatively unknown outside of Japan. It's a shame, they're very talented, and highly amusing!

In April of the same year,
The leader Shou said,
“I think I should quit”,
And even though we only did three lives, we disbanded.

After that, time had flown by and it was the beginning of the summer of 2005,
Guitarist Yutaka said,
“I want to meet up and talk to you”, so he visited Shou’s house in the middle of the night.
For some reason at the neighbourhood bar, they went to enter but as they looked young, the employee asked them to present their ID. With calmly showing their ID, they got through. Without delay, they ordered beer.

And Yukata, seriously opened his mouth and said,
“I can’t think of doing a band without you, I only want to do a band if you’re in it”.
On the other hand, stalling the conversation Shou said, “We gotta tell the waiter we don’t want any appetizers”.

“Come on! I’m being serious!”, Yukata said throwing a guitar pick at Shou’s face.
“Stop! Stop it! I’ve already had enough with music!”
Shou was completely ready to run away from being in music. Seeing this side of Shou and having no sympathy, Yukata said “Listen to this song!” and although he was a guitarist, he all of a sudden started to sing.

“Th… that song!!” Shou’s expression changed,
Because that song was the ending theme for “21 EMON”.

“♪Beethovan ～ ni koishite ～ dokidoki suru no wa Mozart～”
In agony, Shou side glanced at Yukata singing enthusiastically,

“Thank you for waiting, here’s your beer”. Said the waiter who couldn’t tell what was going on.

No more words were needed.
There were friends, they had beer and they have music.
Shou released the important things,
No, he was given the realization.

Music isn’t something you think of in your head, it’s something you feel in your heart!

At the end of this nauseating farce, there were only two members, but they reformed the band.
Everything except for the part about the appetizer was a lie, but
that’s pretty much what it felt like.

We’ll keep on doing our best.
