A new study on Brown Rice Syrup has found that there is high levels of arsenic in this ingredient, which is found in energy bars, energy 'shots' and infant formula. The FDA, of course, sets no limits on the levels of arsenic in your food.
Now maybe these are just "bad eggs," right? Maybe these guys will be subjected by market pressure to change their ways. But it wasn't market pressure that outed this practice, it was science. I don't think there's such a thing as good and evil, but the more I read, the more it seems that science is "good" and the economy is "evil". Because as is referenced by Mr. Hunt,
there is also arsenic in your meat,
and in your fruit juice.
Just in case you're still not convinced that neither markets nor the government are socially responsible, there is glyphosate in your urine. Glyphosate is also known as Roundup, and is known to cause liver and reproductive problems.
BPA is detectable in 93% of Americans over age 6, and is now being found to cause serious harm in doses much lower than the FDA limits. Of course, the market spent lots of money lobbying against a BPA ban, and so it was shot down.
If you think the rich give a ******** about you, a study this year found that wealth causes people to be even douchier.
Another found that 1 in 25 business leaders may be a psychopath, while the estimated prevalence of psychopathy in the general population is only 1%. That means that the qualities of a psychopath are far more desirable to the market than those of a normal person.
Companies carrying out fracking use lower and middle class homeowners to hedge their risk by having them lease out their own property without being informed of the danger.
The establishment doesn't even want us to be self-sufficient or share with each other. Isn't anyone else tired of this, yet?
