They are quite accessible. The difference is that we don't have retarded laws on Gay marriage and abortion.
I've personally been in that store. They have 5 weapons with pistol grips and all of them are more than my budget (plus I don't have the "required" FFL). Accessible is hardly the word I would use.
Maybe that's why only one person died as opposed to 30 college students in VT.
VT used pistols. Which are much more accessible than an assault rifle, and much easier to conceal.
Are you really going with the "he planned this, so therefore he got the gun in there without anyone knowing" BS? Come on and think for one second. How many people go through that one terminal a day? I mean really buddy. Everyone, including employees, must go through security EVERY TIME.
Could also be that at VT NO WEAPONS were allowed on campus, period, turning the entire school into a massive shooting gallery for the insane.
