That's my biggest issue. I have everything I could possibly need, save kettle bells and a medicine ball, but I can't seem to find my "trigger."
I just do it. Lol. Probably why I sport Nike. I like feeling strong, in control of my body, and limber. The way I see it, your body is the one thing on the planet you will certainly always have until the day you die, and also the first impression to everyone you meet, so you should probably maintain it the best you can.

What you could is to surround yourself with images of people who have the body you want to have or print of those motivation posters you see on the internet. put those around where you're working out so it helps you to keep going forward smile also you'd be motivated if you were around people who are doing the same thing as you. Being around motivated people will influence you in a positive way. good luck aye smile

I browse /r/progresspics every day before I go and work out. It gives me the motivation I need to go out there and do what I need to do in order to get the body I want. Plus it's fun seeing all these people happy with their transformations.

Training makes some people feel especially strong, confident and in balance. Some actually enjoy working out.
If you don't like it, perhaps think why. For instance, if you hate training because of constant disappointments, stress and appearance pressures: you need to change your attitude. It's not supposed to be torture. Find some work out that you actually enjoy doing - and if that's not enough, I guess it's just a matter of self-discipline from there. Sometimes you need to force yourself to do things that seem bothersome - if you know you'll feel good afterwards, at least.

Yeah, and having an idol helps, too. Someone you look up to and want to be like.

Everything was helpful but that last part. My idol and I have way different body types. She's thin, nearly flat and athletic; I'm curvy, huge boobs (I hate them so much...), and doughy.

Oh, that sucks. It's a common story, but sometimes your tastes change with time. Mine did. 3nodding

I've had many relatives die at a young age because of their weight-related health disease. Plus, I volunteer at a hospital and I see how weight really affects someone as they age. That's stuff in the back of my mind that make sure I never completely fall of the health track.

I have a lot of cousins who post their fitness journey and compete in bodybuilding competitions, marathons, or obstacle races(most popular one here is Tough Mudder). Seeing their progress makes me really want to join them. Plus they also post their healthy food porn so I don't get discouraged about missing out on good food.

I don't do it often but when I have a good day I'll post progress pictures or how my run went on instagram and when I see that I get huge lucks and great feedback from friends and relatives, it continues to encourage me to work hard.

But most of all it's seeing and feeling the progress and not wanting to fall back on it. I don't have any ideal body type. I just want to make myself stronger and last longer. I can feel the fat between my thighs reducing, instead strong muscle is appearing. My arms are round not from fat, but from growing muscle. I used to get tired after walking around for three hours and now I can go way beyond that. I know I can go way farther than where I am too. That's where my motivation comes from. If I falter or need a break, I'll take it. There enough there to get me back going.

(omg sorry this was long /endrant)
looking at myself in the mirror.

just makes me want to work even harder every time i take my shirt off
what about start hating yourself, hate yourself so much you want to hurt yourself in the gym

Divine Zealot

Discipline. Complete habit.

Motivation might get you to wanna go to the gym, or hit the floor, or whatever, but it's routine that keeps you going in there once the motivation wears thin.

I like working towards goals so I feel accomplished (without overdoing the reps if you're tired). The key is not to get discouraged if things aren't looking the way you want, it happens over time. I love feeling limber and looking good afterwards, vain but it works. Pooping regularly is a plus too. lol.
