I believe that you will find someone who loves you no matter what you look like. As a result of bullying throughout my childhood I too believed I wasn't an "attractive mate" as you put it. But I have learned that some people you come across in your life will not care about looks. I personally go for men who have great personalities. I am very much against essentialism. I refuse to accept someone saying "I am not a desirable mate" . The sentence I'd accept would be "I am not a desirable mate right now". Many different short-sighted philosophies of our time (like "it is what it is" or "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" etc. etc.) convince us that we are what we are. No! We're being what we're being.

Become a desirable mate - dedicate the dark energy that you have to a positive purpose. Focus on yourself, and the world will come to you. And I'm not bullshitting you - I know, because I did it.

For as long as the human race exists, there has been no divide between nature and culture. Some sciences with the pretension to being "natural" attempt to distill the natural or primal element to being human. However, it is now impossible. The sciences themselves are part of culture and work within certain cultural paradigms. Sex is cultural.

You are not mistaken in logic. Most people would even say that you are not mistaken in common sense. But logical thinking is also an invention - one that coincides with the invention of writing. What I am trying to say is that maybe you will change your mind once you get some more perspectives on this - more "logics", more nuances. Now it seems like you are stuck in one, and to my understanding, one that is hurtful to you.

Because I do not wish to desire intimacy from women. I am not a desirable mate. Since I cannot sate my sexuality, it only serves to make me miserable. I will not be controlled by such primal urges. I wish to be content without intimacy.

Also, my sexuality is about to make me do something really, really stupid. When I think about it rationally, I realize that it's foolish, but my rational mind cannot see through the haze of lust. Sexuality in the modern age gives women such awesome power over men, the ability to transform them into putty. I do not wish to be subject to it, I wish to be free.
