I have an unnaturally high metabolism.
Now- some of you may see it as some god send
"I can eat all I want and burn it off by doing nothing?! Sign me up!"

Let's just say women aren't the only sex that deals with body image issues.
Now, I'm 5'10 and I dip below 120lbs at my lightest, and peak at 130lbs for my highest.

I've tried just about everything in my power to pack on some pounds and muscle
but this requires me to be active every day. Sit ups, push-ups etc; which is a little tough to
keep up when you have mental health issues (i.e; depression) where you're not
particularly excited to get out of bed some days.
it's difficult for me to build muscle, even with shakes and fatty foods.

I'm actually COMFORTABLE with my body type, I'm not unhealthy
and I feel perfectly fine.

What are healthy, safe and affordable ways to go about putting on weight and muscle?

Have you tried drinking a galleon of whole milk everyday? (That's on top of eating)

First off, what's your actual caloric intake? It's not uncommon for underweight people to eat until full, and then still not eat enough.

Up your caloric intake each day. If you want to gain some weight, you're going to have to seriously increase it. Exercising with a high metabolism will only make you lose more weight.

Go onto a website called bodybuilders.com
My boyfriend is a body builder by habit and love for being fit. That site taught him how to gain weight properly, and proper muscle mass.
The community is super supportive and they share routines and things like that.

If you want to gain weight and muscle in a healthy manner, body building is the way to go.
