The actual genetic differences in "races" is so minuscule that there is no valid reason in desiring to be one or the other.

Race, other than as a social construct, doesn't exist.

As a serious response: Maybe the allure of doing or being something other than what you already are now...xenophilia is common now-a-days.

Anyways, Tropic Thunder was hilarious. I think that Tom Cruise's character was really Paul Giamatti.

s**t I dunno. Personally I wish my mom wouldve ******** a white dude so i dont have to explain to people that my mom is white and my dad is black making me bi-racial.
Or vis vers, but id hate to have a black mom.

Perhaps they desire a differnet cultural experience, because most of western society lacks a sense of cutural awarness and idenity. While a black community has a clearly defined sub-culture which may appear appealing to a person who feels they lack a cultural idenity. or somthing like that....
