Please explain this to me. First of all, i am white. Secondly, i live in the carribean. Now every time i go to the the states, and meet a new person, the second question is, where are u from, after which i tell them i am from the carribean (Lil island called Saba to be more exact, but anyways), then the person looks at me as if i am some kind of freak(which i am not), and asks me why the ******** i aint black stare . Somebody please explain this to me...

Its stereotypical. It has to deal with how the average American sees the average Carribean (sorry if I got that wrong). For example, most people from another country would view the average American as a redneck, which, I would consider to be pretty accurate.
