I don't remember it being nearly as prominant when I was a regular in the GD as it is now.

It's really annoying when they have pictures in the thread that have nothing to do with the thread itself, i don't really mind so much if it has some relevance to the thread itself but it's still annoying nonetheless.

From what i remember, i wouldn't say people were smarter back then. :/

I think 90% of hte threads around now are just excuses for people to post pictures of themselves
i dont mind if there is a discussion in it
but i rarely find one

and EVERYONE BEGGED FOR PICTURES

I'm a visual learner, and rarely go to threads where I have to look at someone's face.

So pics are a go in my book.

There is a difference between learning visually, and needing a myspace angled picture with a boring discussion slapped on it to get attention.
