I guess I was more curious because I saw something like this on Starcraft Forums. I do not understand why this game would not appeal to many females as there are nerdy girls into sci-fi such as Star Trek, Star Wars, etc. I mean I know it's a game but I can't help but feel it's because of the dedication and control it takes to get something out of the game.

Well, we certainly cannot deny that gamer culture was, and perhaps may still be in some respects, male-centric. Women face all kinds of bullshit prejudice in life, and gaming is no different a matter. Some guys, let's face it, have a problem with women. Can't handle it.

Just curious... I know they exist but how am I supposed to find them?! Like the only time I've met a few were the ones who almost never leave their house lol. It's almost impossible to find nerdy girls. Also curious to what games most women are interested in.

Dude honestly you dont need a girl unless you need to get your rocks off. Other than that its not good they complicate simple s**t. Your better off just chilling with your buddies till you need a goodtime. And there expensive as hell. Nerdy girls are still girls and still morons and more.

its sort of funny thoug im at work and a dude comes in wearing a very subtle but still clear to anyone who has played mass effect- jacket, or a small unsc badge and i start commenting on it..

i sort of get it though, because even as a girl i wish i had more friends that were girls that play video games. i mean im perfectly content with my guy friends since they are awesome, but a girl to play with would be nice sometimes too
