Brilliant game, you have an open world, and a dragon companion, you can ride ont he dragon whenever you want. There are dungeons and monsters, I loved it, I dont know what the reviews are though.

yum_tea There are still working PS2s and backwards-compatible PS3s out there. If she's willing to pay through the nose she can easily get a replacement console to play her PS2 discs on.

Why would you buy PS2 games if your console is about to die?

Oh I'd probably dish in for a replacement eventually. I just want to focus on getting some games before prices get way too ridiculous (even though some have been crazy) -- see what kinds of gems I've been missing out over the years.

I really hope PS Now services would include emulating PS2/PS1.

A working PS2 with cords goes for about $50 or so. It's one of the easiest consoles to replace that isn't still actively sold as brand new in stores.
