six million paper clips--help needed from around the world

Our social studies class is currently studying the holocaust and we need your help. We are striving to collect SIX MILLION PAPER CLIPS to help represent the amount of people that died during the holocaust. We could really use a hand and it wouldn't take much.

If you could, please send paper clips to Mrs. Goslow's class. Even one would be a great help smile We would also love to hear stories from holocaust survivors.

Raid your nearest Staples, Office Max, or any other place that sell school supplies, and buy all the paper clips from those stores?

The point of the exercise, clearly, is to put the numbers into real perspective.


6 million is just a statistic. It's difficult to visualise.

I'll probably spend twice as much as I really need to, to post the things.

Not that I use paperclips the way it should be used anymore. Who uses paperclips conventionally now?
