All silliness aside, St. Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide. It's a day to celebrate St. Patrick and all of his amazing feats! Did you know that he spent six years as a slave in Ireland until he escaped and started teaching religion abroad?

It's actually my dad's birthday. I've been told that he doesn't remember his birthdays from college. Being a college student in a beer-drinking state, I'll probably go the same way.
