Upgrading rods?

How many times can you upgrade a rod? People are talking about "plus" rods, so I am guessing that all rods can be upgraded once, to become a + rod... Or can you upgrade them more? Like... 100 times? So they'll become the ultimate rod? ^_^

You;re welcome. Everyone loves the strength rod (I sure do) but I heard the distance rod casts further out so it gives you a better (meaning longer) chance at catching a rare. Right now rares are disabled (part of the coding change) but later on I think a distance rod might be the best choice.

I guess we'll all wait and see ^_^

But it's alot harder to catch a rare fish isn't it?
So if you actually do hook one, you're gonna wish you had that strenght rod to pull it in with ^_^

what about throwing disistiece..how far u can fish with each rod...does it go up when u make it a + rod??

And no, from what I heard, rare fish don't act way way more aggressive. People caught them with the basic rod, so it's all practice.
