So I just came back after a long 7-year hiatus, and there are sooo many things that have changed. I was able to talk with some people and they told me that you could exchange fish for rares???

They gave me an example of 1000 boldurs= 1 lion

So what kind of fishes can be exchanged for rares? Can hellfish be exchanged for lions, too?

No for hellfish just original fish for original rares.

Angelic Rods are now real. You can earn them by catching a total of 75,000 fish and/or junk. We also have the Angelic Rod PLUS which is earned when you do the same thing with fish and/or junk but 150,000.

When you reach those numbers you just have to wait till Sunday, 5am pacific coast time and it'll be granted into your inventory.
