I dunno, as someone who has been running instances and raids for manymany years in quite a few different MMOs, I have been on many runs with that one person who is completely confused and says dumb stuff like the announcement and doing the worst dps output I've ever seen, bless their hearts.

Cygnus is just a new max level player is all and is expecting rainbows and fun mechanics when in reality he is facing many dirt naps and one hit kills.

And we all know the true end game doesn't happen until you get your pink unicorn mount anyways, who needs to be properly geared? cool

On the topic though, I feel like a lot of announcements are supposed to have a silly tone to them, so it makes sense that the terminology isn't 100% correct if it's from the point of view of the NPCs saying it. They're just trying to make a sale, so all they gotta do is throw out some jargon. lol

Thought you meant it in a different way given how you worded it, my apologies.
Parties are social obligations with lots of people I don't give a damn about. You "joke" was used in an improper manner because you found the pun to be humorous, that is really not the case. That only succeeded in making us both look stupid.

Yea, I'm use to being the charge of large guilds so It have to be a no-nonsense person in raids and parties to get the job done and get on with our lives rather than sitting in Guild chat making d**k jokes for an hour.

It doesn't work as satire if you're to stupid to write the joke properly.
