I don't think theres anything special between Devin and Luca. I think Luca has a crush on Devin at the most. I see Devin going for manly men.

How I see their first encounter.

Scene: Durem community pool. In the pool Cordell, straight faced, throws around a beach ball with the other members of the gang. Men sitting on the side of the pool, drooling as her slender body glides around gracefully. Luca is sitting on the side, scowling at the water. Unable to swim, but unable to allow himself to show weakness, he refuses to admit he can't swim and allow anyone to help him. The Sun goes down, and everyone leaves. Wanting to be alone, Luca sends his gang ahead. With the coast clear, he decides to face his fears. Walking to the deep end, he jumps in, and begins to flail around wildly. Devin, who just left Skin Tyte to home, hears the commotion and comes running. Seeing Luca start to sink to the bottom, dives in and pulls an unconcious Luca to the surface. As he preforms CPR, Luca opens his eyes to see Devin leaning over him.

Devin: "Hey kid, you okay?"
Luca: "Where am I?"

Luca tries to sit up, but falls back.

Devin: "Woah! Relax.. just stay down."

Devin lifts Luca up, and carries him back to Skin Tyte. Setting Luca down on the tattoo chair, Devin grabs a towel and begins to dry him off. A light blush comes to Luca's cheeks, and he pulls the towel from him.

Luca: "I-I can do that myself."

Devin smiles kindly, as the door is opened and the Kuro Gang burst in.

Gang member: "We found him!"

Cordell enters the room and walks to her brother's side. Devin, confused, watches in silence. Luca hops off the tattoo chair, and orders his gang out and begins to walk towards the door.

Luca: "I am Don Kuro, and I own you a debt. Farewell."

Turning around quickly and walking out the door, Luca's cheeks light up again, as he remembers the touch of the stranger who saved his life.




-Makes kissy faces.-

I doubt no better would happen with a cat and an owl.

Unless he trained the Cat, or Caesar gave the cat a whoopin to instill bird phobia in it.
