You are not understanding. All RIGs re-release items.
These items can be gold shop items or past RIG items.
Just because you play a RIG single does not mean that you will be granted a new item from the RIG.
The Kitten Star was released from one of the earlier RIGs and the Mercury Moon is an item from a Cash Shop chance item.
They are not exclusive to this RIG nor are they new items.
RIGs usually release 40-50 new items, however they can re-release hundreds of old items.
To list every old item would take anyone weeks. It is never going to happen.
