Dat hype for ZOMG.
The forums were largely anime/gaming-based.

Honestly, if Gaia stayed as Go-Gaia like it did at the beginning, I wouldn't have stayed. I like diversity more than an anime RP avatar site, thank you very much.

Remember when browsing through the Gold Shops was a b***h? Or when we used to have timers in between posting that told you how much longer you needed to wait to make another post (so freaking glad when they did away with that)? Also the hype for backwings and a MMO battle system.

I still play! It's actually my favorite game on here.

Man I was already feeling old today and now this. I remember most of the new changes and so does Pepperidge Farm.

I remember when getting gold from finishing the puzzles and playing pinball was a good way of getting gold to buy all the top tier stuff from the gold shops that were otherwise impossible to afford. Ah, questing after that blue G-Lol gown.

Young-boy Gino was my first fav NPC.
I remember the lack of a MP. And I remember when there was no separation for buying/selling threads in the Exchange. The first time one of my threads got moved (i was selling something) to the brand new Wanted forum, I gave that mod such a b***h-fit. Ah, good times...

I remember when having a guild was suuuuch a big-s**t deal. You know you have to pay 1k to get a new forum in those!?!?! That's insane! In fact I bought a used guild from someone. Came already with 5 subforums!

Oh lord, being a zETA tester was my one of my favorite times on Gaia. Same goes for being a Profile tester. Remember when nobody had profiles? When you clicked their avatar, it just took you to their posts.
