I seriously doubt he's dead, where would Gaia's Storyline go!? ..and polus, it does say he opened it. Johnny K Gambino's Casino. It is run and owned by him.

According to the plotline, it's BEEN open.
How do you think Gambino BECAME 'Richest man in Gaia'??
One of the Labtech's said he had a Gambling problem, and the Casino's right there next to Gambino's Mansion, which had G-Corp under it. neutral

No-one knows if he's dead or not.

Either way, the Island belongs to him, as does everything on it, including the casino.
