So... correct my math if it's wrong (I'm tired, haha) but:
The current sale puts a bundle of five at 480m, making each single 96m (as you said).
The current mp tax is 3%.

So, say someone sells a single for 100m, the tax on that is 3m.
...So they only make 1m from the sale? Those are some generous people since they're basically selling singles at cost to users who can't afford to buy the bundle. Sweet.
