The ice demon was perched high on a ledge, looking down on the Great Hall from hundreds of feet overhead. Snow whirled around her, but she didn't care, didn't shiver or even breathe foggy breath. Icy blue eyes were focused on a fight far below, between a frost troll and an ice bear. They were both giant beasts, both proud and majestic. And both were covered in cuts and bruises, the pristine white snow around them stained crimson with blood.

The two creatures had been struggling against each other for about five minutes now and neither one seemed to be tiring. The troll had a slight size advantage, but the bear made up for that in raw muscle and sinew, it's mighty blows capable of killing a human with a single strike. Claws met claws, sharp teeth met tusks, the sound of the battle echoing up even to where Rinestre sat. They weren't aware of her presence, and neither had the chance to look for their unseen audience at any rate.

The bear swang a poor, and one of the troll's tusks went flying, snapped clean in half. The girl's eyes narrowed as the troll rammed it's head into the bear, it's remaining tusk tearing through muscle and bone as it impaled itself in the bears shoulder. The fight was nearing it's end, it's finale, it seemed. The bears deadly fangs tore into the trolls throat as it roared with the pain of it's busted shoulder, while the trolls razor like claws shredded the bears stomach, rending the flesh as if it were paper. It was a deadly thing, this battle, deadly and yet still beautiful. The demon really didn't want to watch it end.

There was a flash of moonlight off of cold steel, and a trickle of blood ran from the woman's palm as she sliced the air with one of the katana she bore. The air darkened, the wind howled and the snow was whipped into a violent flurry. When it cleared, it revealed the two beasts, frozen solid and locked in their dying moments for eternity.

A small smile played on the ice demon's lips as she floated down to alight on the floor next to the giant ice creation, her hand reaching up to press itself to the bitterly cold prison. The blood from her cut palm seeped into the ice, freezing it red as the cut healed itself. She rarely had visitors and so, she took her entertainment from wherever it came.
