I used to like him and find him funny but ever since he (brutally) killed Ross I've hated him. Why is he liked so much? I hate him!

That's what I said a few chapters ago. So he SAVED Ross. That changes everything. Wait, but in the anime, he kills Winry's parents! HE'S STILL A b*****d! scream

He really didn't kill Ross, it was all a trick so she could escape.

I love when people decide to hate a character in the middle of a series.

He's one of my favorite characters, nothing would ever change that opinion. I didn't really question it when he "killed" Ross, because I knew that there was something behind it. He's not that transparent and vengeful.

You know, that wasn't really Ross he burned. It was a dummy, to make HQ think he had killed her. It was to help her escape from the soldiers that were gonna kill her, cuz she was accused of killing Hughes.
