My father went nuts the moment I walked in the door with my caramel stuffed apple cider cookies. He didn't hug me at the door, just took the box and ran. (He came back and hugged me though.)

Christmas Day we had brunch in Canada with my mom's side of the family. There were bacon, ham, scrambled eggs baked in the oven, beans, toast, coffee cake drizzled in maple syrup (We gotta have maple syrup!), and cranberry orange scones. Toast toppings were butter, maple butter, cherry jam, and peanut butter.

Cooking wise for Christmas, I got a mini donut maker and... A KITCHEN AID MIXER. So I guess I gotta make donuts now!
