My family and I have been enjoying the show Dexter during dinner, and are now watching it for the second time all the way through. Are there any other fans around here? We are a few episodes into the Trinity case. Any comments on what you though about the end if you saw it, or what you have seen so far?

I finished it twice. I am currently doing my third watch through. It is a good show. I was not pleased with the ending. I started reading the book series because of the show. It is a bit different. They follow different paths.

I agree, the end was not satisfying. Some of the differences from the book to the show are based on viewer ratings. Certain people were kept longer or were killed of based on viewer rating.

I felt the same way! The last episode hit way too close to home, and Dexter, whyyyyyy??

But really, I was a little disturbed early on in the series (before I just came to accept it) on how well I could relate with a serial killer. It's been fantastic to watch his growth over the seasons in realizing, denying, accepting, and embracing that he is not actually unable to love other people.

Yeah the final episode should have ended differently. I agree his character had developed so much over the years!
