i never seen the show though.

You should check it out. To put it really simply, it's about these two brothers who hunt monsters. And demons, and pagan gods, and ghosts, and all sorts of freaky stuff. And the relationship between the brothers is really intense and important. So it's like drama and horror, but it's also really funny too and tends to jump around genres. Like they'll have a dramatic episode where Dean is emotionally and mentally tortured by memories of hell and then they'll have an episode where there's an alcoholic teddy bear that's addicted to porn.

It's on the CW, but they're on summer hiatus right now. Reruns are shown weekday mornings on TNT, but I think right now those are showing season six. You could also watch it online here.
