i'm also thinking about what this might mean for cosplayers (i.e me if i ever decide to go for it)
the trench coat and suit is iconic
but without it, what are we but a bunch of guys in regular clothes and a beard?
and what if like, we (cosplayers) do go for old cas, and then we get some asses who are like
NAH, THAT ISN'T CANON ANYMORE. YOU FAIL. GOODBYE.

Yeah, but whatever happens now with his character and whatever his clothes do or don't represent it won't ever un-do how important and iconic the trench coat was and has been. It'll always be iconic.

You mean the title card? YAS I love it so much omg. Didn't they reveal a different one a bit back? Were they trying to throw us off on purpose? But really. Angel wings! Burning! Oh no. But this means that Cas, and the angels, are going to be a significant part of the season. I'm very happy about this.

When Anna fell, she could still hear the angels talking, like residual grace kept her linked to their true voices. I think it's great they kept that consistent with Castiel.
