I decided to go with a coffin theme for my submission, since the theme of this contest is a little dark. I've decided on this submission out of all my other drafts. As if gaia had enough headpieces. Hmph. xD
Stitchy Sarah's Fascinator
Description: It's spooky, it's stitchy, it's fascinating.
(can someone help me come up with a better catchphrase?)

I made a tumblr especially for my future contest designs.
Listing it here as a heads up for the mods, so they don't wonder what the hell my art is doing over on a random tumblr.

I really like it, but I feel it's rather... bulky. You could make the main part smaller while the veil part could be bigger. Of course, I've just felt that it seems too bulky, that's just my opinion. I think you could like... trail down skulls into the veil.

I'd like to see something besides in the colors of red and black. Seeing a mint variation of a normal item would be totally awesome.

Stitches and skulls on a male (unless he is in drag; ala Sharon Needles) sounds like a fashion disaster.
