Hey i am kinda new at this MP3 stuff and i need a little help...
I am using napster and i wanna import older music files into my library on napster. my problem is that the files don't import becase they are not .mp3 or .wma. how can i change the files to .mp3 or.wma format?

It depends on what format you have the originals in, and how you got them. If you got them legally, you could either download software that enables you to rip them from cd again but to MP3 this time, or you could find some conversion software via Google.

I did, but it depends on what you want to convert from etc. What do you want to convert from?

well in the properties of the old music files they are already labeled as mp3 but napster won't accept them so i am trying to go from MP3 to WMA

If you have windows XP, then the Windows Media Player Bonus Pack has a MP3 to WMA icluded with it.
