like the title says;

I am looking for a free audio/voice recording tool for windows 7

something that simply records and saves the file, I would use the standard windows voicerecorder but I read that it only records a minute.

Audacity is perfect for just voice. If you ever want to add a webcam or screen capture, use OBS.
