hmmm normaly when upgradeing the mobo..it is best to use a fresh install of windows on the drive..... that kind of problem is commen if you dont do a fresh install of windows after switching mobos

That's your problem. A quick fix would be to uninstall the Via 4-in-one Drivers on your computer and install the ones from your new motherboard. Formatting would be your best option though, and it can never hurt to format your machine.
