A safe way to root my phone?

I have an Alcatel One Touch Fierce from T-Mobile. I want to root it so badly, but I'm been searching and I barely got any information. Are there any safe root programs? I saw Kingo root and one click root, but I don't think I completely trust them.

Also if they were posting anything harmful to your phone they'd be banned. so you can trust them... that's a pretty popular forum for android.

Just make sure you back up any important information on your phone before trying anything as the usual process will require wiping your device.

If you have Android 4.4 or lower, I've used Towelroot with great success. It's literally just one click if you use the apk version. It doesn't work on all devices, but for those it does work on, you don't have to wipe your phone or anything.
