They can't have an item with, say, a Spider-Man logo on it unless Marvel okays the use. Copyright issue and all. There's some generics, a comic book item with one-off t-shirts but it's kinda half-assed imo.
Yeah, the layering is a b***h! I did a couple of AWESOME Dr. Dooms awhile back but the layering fubared it to hell.
In a Gaia where we have Captain America's sheild, I don't think it'd be too much of a stretch to see Marvel or DC working with Gaia on some sort of advrtisement RIG type items.
It's cause of the movie promotion. Unless they come out with a Spider-Man movie featuring Scarlet, or Winter is in the Avengers movie, it's unlikely. Best we could hope for would be another one-off like the arsenal item or the parody s**t they come out with for most anime items.
Besides, the promo items always suck. The shield looks right but fits for s**t with the avatar system imo.
Well, you're kinda right in some aspects. True, it does help when there's an item, like Cap's shield that comes on here, but it also takes a butt-ton of ingenuity to come UOL with stuff here. Look at Lex, for instance. Patience and practice, plus a little luck, and for a while, the only problem he had was the baldness. Then Gaia came out with an actual bald hair thing. If only he had crazy eyebrows, too. Now, look at mine. It's not awesome as I'd like, but it works. Especially since there is a single sleeve item, too, which I had. So, I gotta tweak-n-peak it now to make it awesome. And I need to think of a way to do the new Kaine Scarlet Spider. Should take some time.
