Dream Manga is an online nonprofit manga magazine, founded in September 2007 for aspiring manga artists who would like to experience the fun of drawing manga with a schedule, and having it featured in a monthly online magazine. It is open to everyone's original applications, be it reviews, comics, comic strips, short stories, articles, etc. Let us help you get your name out there!

If you are submitting a series, please remember: commitment is essential. If you cannot commit to a series, it is recommended you practice with one-shot submissions! A helpful tip is to have chapters in advance.

Submission Guidelines

COMIC GUIDELINES
❤ 500x750 pixels, with resolution of 100dpi - spread pages will therefore be 900x650 pixels
❤ No fan manga or doujinshi will be accepted - this magazine is for original work exclusively.
❤ Please include a cover page and recap page with each chapter - the recap page requires the following:
Manga synopsis - two or three sentences about your story
A "previously" description - a short summary of the previous chapter
Indication of which way the manga is read, and a rating - rating include A (all ages), 7+ , 10+, 13+, and 16+. Any special warnings (i.e. BL, violence) should be stated.
Character information - just a name and face would be fine
❤ Please send submissions to [e-mail], or Gaia submissions to Dream Manga - it is preferred to be zipped, but you can also email it as an attachment, or link to an online host.
❤ Please number pages in order before submitting them!

WRITER GUIDELINES
❤ 500x750 pixels portrait
❤ A minimum of 1 page
❤ There is no restriction on font size, but please keep it readable
❤ On the top part of the first page, please indicate story title, pen name, part X of Y, and any warning
❤ Please refrain from using copyrighted images

WITHDRAWAL
❤ If you would like to withdraw your story from the magazine for any reason, please say so! It is preferable if you would have some note for readers as well.

In anime and manga, meeting the love interest's parents, dead or alive, is usually pretty stressful or hilarious - or both. And so! In celebration of Father's Day because this thread didn't exist when it was Parent's Day... we hold a contest to see who can list the most anime/manga where the main love interest meets the protagonist's father! Please send in Private Message form to DREAM Manga to prevent cheating, unless you don't mind people peeking~

Rules/Elaborations enclosed below!

❤ Please remember: the list is for when the main love interest meets the protagonist's father. If there are multiple love interests meeting the father, or meet the father at separate times, it still counts as 1 point because it's one series.
❤ Fathers' gravesites count!
❤ Along with the title of the anime/manga, please include specifics! This could be the chapter (or volume)/episode where the meeting takes place! If it is a movie, then give a general idea of when it happens (i.e. Made-Up Movie, about halfway through the movie where Dream-Chan is about to go back home). It could be as vague as what the character interaction was like (i.e. Dream-Chan's father threw a chair at Manga-Kun). If specifics aren't included it will not count.
❤ Each anime/manga is worth 1 point! If the anime is also a manga, or the manga is also an anime, you can get 2 points! How lucky~!
❤ Please try to keep your submission in one post! That way it's nice and comprehensive! Also, it prevents massive spam attacks.
