Speaking of Delta Blues, gave you checked out Son House? Love his stuff.

As for blues artists, I'm really into Joe Bonamassa at the moment. Going to see him live next month which I can't wait for...he's mind-blowing in how he plays guitar sweatdrop

I don't know if he's self taught or not... I do know he opened for BB King at 14 years old, which is epic in and of itself. I've got his Live From Nowhere in Particular concert on vinyl which I love. The version of Ball Peen Hammer that he does makes my brain tingle it's so good! sweatdrop
