Ooooh! That vortex thing was pretty.
We don't have anything lasting that's particularly amazing at the Center. But, considering it's in a town with a population of 40k in the middle of basically ******** nowhere, I consider us pretty lucky to get all the moving exhibits we do. We also have theater productions and stuff, occasionally interesting things come through. There's really nothing in Michigan...unless you want to go all the way to Lansing to see a broadway show, which I've done, for free. It was a choir thing. I saw the Lion King. It was great, the bus broke down on the MSU campus, we ended up hoofing it like 2 miles in dress shoes with our overstuffed backpacks.
I'm eagerly awaiting the next mobile exhibit, which is a snakes and reptiles interactive thing. biggrin I love snakes and reptiles! You even get to hold some of them.

have you ever been to a butterfly farm?

Yeah, at the Wharton center in East Lansing. It was nice. The stage had mobile parts even, so that kept things interesting.
There's a butterfly house at the gardens next to the center for the arts. I'm not sure if you'd consider that a "farm", but they raise the little fellas from egg to adult and so on. Lots of them. Not even sure how many species. It's nice.

there are a few in england called "butterfly houses". that name sounds a bit nicer. (:
but, yeah, they have the eggs to adult containers. i love those. especially if you're lucky enough to just see a butterfly coming out of its chrysalis.
in the section after it, there's this rope just above your head & there are little leaf cutter ants walking across it. it's a lovely place.

So I replied saying that if she's going to make a thread in the CB, she should expect smart a** comments. And if she can't handle them, she needs to grow up.

She replied back telling me that I was the one that needed to be mature and grow up, and that she was going to be the "bigger man" and just ignore me. And she disabled her comments. rofl

Yeeeah, that's showing me alright.
Remember, I'm immature, yet look who's the one cosplaying Inuyasha. lol

I would also like to point out that she used poor Grammar and chat speak through the entirety of our conversation.

I do the same thing. I just FLAYED an idiot who tried to act like me and my friends were assholes for asking her to leave our specifically titled "LITERATE" cards room when she came in and started speaking entirely in chatspeak. "Ur" is a town in Final Fantasy III. Not a substitute for "You are". And when she didn't leave, she started insulting us and swearing. So, of course, we returned in kind, minus the swearing.
Maybe it's elitist, but if you can't read and understand the words "Literate Casino Whores" enough to gather that we don't want txt talkers, then I guess you deserve to get beat up. Especially when you don't leave when asked and claim that we should shut up or get out of our own room. The X button is not that hard to press. And it's not that hard to spell words either. We would have accepted her if she'd been willing to actually act intelligent.
