His clawed gauntlet of a hand reached out from a portal from behind the bar and rummaged around for what? Even he didn't really know. A faint clink came from the bottle as he pulled one out. Next came his head. His face was masked by two pieces of bent metal with sharp jagged edges which formed a crude mouth mask. He pulled the bottle towards his face and as he did so the mask pulled backwards to the sides of his face. He then took a deep draught from the bottle before coughing and spluttering. He wiped his lips and looked at the bottle, sighing and shrugging.
He dropped out of the portal in his armor before it softened and reformed his jester's outfit. He quickly poured the drink into a cup and added some cherry juice to it and took another drink. This time he didn't cough. He took a look around and saw Talia, Vegma, Gem, and Grey. More full than usual, but Sheggo and Yuni and Kaibird were missing. Hrm. Looks like he was the one watching over the place for right now.
Talia gave a friendly smile, despite that it was hidden by cascading ebony hair. She herself took he time to look at her most recent tattoo. Although it was quite different from her other markings, she admired the mark of protection, she only wished she could give it to other elves, so Omega's wrath could never spill elven blood again. Her eyes and head turned to Vegma, her mood was better enough for her to speak aloud, though the mental connection stayed up and continued to produce images to Vegma. All of the sudden, Talia bursted in uncontrollable laughter. Though her voice was deep and rich, the laugh was at a higher pitch, and rang beautifully throughout the entire sanctuary; The forest nearby bustled from the sound even. Herlaughter rang and echoed, and had such a tune behind it! Finally her laughter ceased, and when she caught her breath she spoke. "I apologize vegma, but I am no dark elf. I know much of them as I had a friend who was drow, but I am not. I look how I do because of the vampirism. Most would call my kind of elf a wood elf or forest elf. My eyes are naturally emerald colored and my skin a deep tan, much like a chestnut or perhaps the inside of an oak tree." Talia produced these images to Vegma of some of her people, to better have him understand their look. She showed him elves with both black, rich hair and a metallic silver hair that gleamed in the sunlight. Both versions of these elves had a very dark skin and deep green eyes. "The vamlirism paled my skin, though not the same as a human, and turned my eyes to red. They would be as bright as Melissa's though I no longer drink blood, causing my eyes to darken." Talia intentionally kept from speaking about Elizabeth; it was still much too hard for her and she wanted to keep in he lighter mood, since soon it will darken with the task ahead. Pictures of her homeland, Kyria, and her friends flashed among her connection to vegma, and after taking a drink of her liquor, a quick flash of her parents, though the image faded too quickly to make out their image.
He put his hand back to his side as he was rejected a hand shake "well I've met worse,Just try not to start anything,The sanct has been through alot lately" Grey got himself a bottle of whiskey then went back to his seat and started to drink it. He looked around from wall to wall seeing all of the people and sighed happily.
He nodded and kept held of her hand, standing up again now that she could reach before tugging lightly on the arm. His eyes searching the area, he was in an area that he had not recognized and only now did he realize this, having been too worried about checking on Yuni and making sure that she was alright.
"C'mon girly, lets get you taken care of, you can come pet the tree some more later"
Yuni blinked the anime swirlies out of her eyes, giving herself a moment to focus on Ryoto while giggling her tail off. The teen held onto his hand and sat up, her other hand reaching out to just rest the bandaged palm against the bark.
"I'm a walkin' case o' head trauma! But I like this d**k. It's a very nice d**k." Yuni then blinked a couple times, patting the trunk. "I mean tree."
He laughed and completed the grasp by placing his hand around hers, kneeling down next to her again. His fingers wrapped around her hand as he looked at the tree, then back to her. He had found himself amused with the girl yet again
"I would think you'd be at a loss to describe my d**k, and maybe it would be better if we really did get you checked out, just to be sure you haven't suffered some kind of head trauma"
It had taken Ryoto a short while to make his way back to shore, but finally he stepped out onto the sands and grassy portions that made it up. Shaking himself off a little before running back to make sure she was alright. Once he found her he laughed, watching her play with the air and jest about her massive d**k. Kneeling down next to her he inspected her forehead and patted her ears.
Yuni barely registered a splash from the waters, giggling and pawing at the air. Apparently there were dancing Tweeties circling the air above her head. Or something. Maybe s'mores. She too was catching her breathe in between giggles, a blackish bruise forming on her forehead. Yeah, it'll take her a little while to regain her bearings.
"Ah got a huge diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick~" Yuni sang out, since her legs were on either side of the elm's trunk.
With no way to slow himself down before the trees broke open he caught sight of her hitting the tree, unable to go help though as his last foothold was missed in his distraction. Flying out quite a ways from the tree, he would launch himself at great speeds into the lake, landing quite a ways from shore. With nothing else to do he grabbed the piece of metal to keep it from getting lost in the lake and floated for a while, trying to catch his breathe from the hard impact before starting his swim back to shore to make sure the young girl was alright.
Yuni, while running away, would only use her portals occasionally. Just enough to keep him on his toes. As they neared the body of water, she dove into such a rift that would have its exit set too high in the air. And right over the pristine water. The water Yuni couldn't swim in. She noticed her error quickly enough, thankfully, and tore another portal open just before she'd be hitting the water. But in her panic, this portal would open right in front of a sturdy elm's trunk not far. The tree itself shook as the Nekojin smacked right into it, looking like one of them witch decorations before falling back onto the grass.
And yes, there would be dizzy anime swirlies replacing her eyeballs.
He had watched her appear several times, laughing again as he caught sight. "A very lovely day indeed" He would say before her disappearance and reappearance above him. The push on his shoulders would send him back towards the ground, barely catching himself on a branch. The momentum he had burnt his hands against the branch but allowed him to absorb the heat for energy, launching himself with a half circle in her direction, still high in the trees he would also fail to realize the lakes position. Instead he watched her steadily, chasing after her without thought given to anything else.
Yuni said while popping out of one portal some feet to the side of Ryoto's form, looking like she was lounging and checking her nails before another rift caught her. Then another would tear open on the other side, the teen resuming the pose.
"-- ain't it~?"
The next portal opened closer, just a few feet in front of his path. Yuni's grinning self popped out and leap-frogged over Ryoto's shoulders, hands playfully tagging the back of his head before she landed on a tree branch. She began running back the other way, rocketing through the woods unknowingly towards the Goddess Lake.
He laughed wildly, hinting at his position on purpose, kicking the base of a tree hard after landing against it, he launched himself spiraling into the air before kicking off of another branch. launching him high into the treetops and along them as he flew. His eyes watched where the rifts opened, his mind being fooled with this new tactic. There was no way to tell where the next rift would be opened, causing him to lose his vital advantage against the teen. With no advantage to rely upon he had chosen to take speed over tactics, just launching himself across the sky as fast as he could manage.
And Sherlock was at a level of tact and craft that far surpassed the young Nekojin's own clever feline based mind. She felt the brush of fingers on her shoulder and instantly pouted, pouncing up onto a tree trunk to halt her momentum for the moment. She stayed there for a moment like a cat in the pre-pounce position, her butt slightly wiggling as she eyed where Ryoto went.
"I'MMA GETCHU MOUSEY!" Yuni dove into a fiery rift, looking like some feline dolphin diving about in the forest after him. Each portal meant to bring her closer, though a few had managed to open at the wrong place.
