I liked the rules. And the Magic... oh the magic. I scared ARMIES by myself with my magic. I pointed and people RAN from me.

The magic was kind of the killer for me. As a martial artist, I was able to do things, but they were "against the rules" or "outside my character class" so I just told them they could all take a hike. I liked SCA because it was more reality based, but they were mostly a bunch of stuck up snobs.

You should look up Dagohir, its Magicless Amtgard.

Oh gods, I wouldn't even have the time to do anything else right now. EMS, firefighting, Scouts, Martial Arts, plus all the time I spend in the gym getting ready for this test, I have to schedule time just to breath.

Too much. Much too much.

Yeah, but I enjoy it all so much! (Especially the paycheck, which allows me to do stuff like the scouts and belong to the gym.)
