Why blame all of the staff when there is only ONE person who is wanting this?

No wonder the staff don't want to hear you folks... You criticize all of them, by cussing and insulting a majority of them when you don't think: they don't have the power to do any dramatic changes.

Instead of using SF as you know, a mature use of speaking to the staff... All you do is complain.

Make a damn petition, start getting your name out there. I am just as tired as you all, but do you see my posts dissing the staff? Do you think criticizing all of them will get you anywhere?

I think not: they'll just tune you out.

If you have concerns? There are several guilds who aren't taking any action on making a difference.

Be more damn respectful, and realize that they're in the same boat who can't say a whole lot against their boss... It's probably scary because it's their JOB.

Thing is though, since the first time Flynns Booty was released, there has been thread after thread, of thought out mature feedback. And what did they do? Release it 7 times after.

This is honestly the first out of the 7 times that I see users this upset, and honestly can you blame them?

Everyone has been MORE than respectful. They are the ones who haven't. People posted petitions, in AtA, etc. Non was even listened too a little, not only that they took advantage of the inflation they caused by charging more cash for their "sales" due to the higher gold price. That's a dirty more to play on your customers.

Also: their partnership is apparently having the staff doing all this because they're funding them... There may be another mystery towards the increase of Flash Shops and such.

Idk what forum you've been in but I would say about 80% of Flynn's Booty feedback is not mature and well thought out. It is angry and raging. Sadly the well thought out and mature threads are getting flooded out by these angry and raging threads.

Also the Site Feedback forum isn't a very accurate representation of the whole site. If they're still releasing it that means someone is buying it. Unless the angry and raging people here are hypocrites it's probably a little more well recieved among the users that don't come to this forum.


@ OP: You're right. I really hate all the anger and resentment towards people who are just doing their jobs. We know nothing about how the office is run and the day-to-day working life of our staff.

For the first 6 times it was released I saw only 1 or 2 that was immature, maybe a bit more. But most of it was actual feedback and pleads for FB to stop.

I beg to differ

In a lot of threads I've seen, people are saying that they know that what's happening isn't Uncle Kenny's fault, nor the artists', devs', or admins'. Whenever I called people out on it, they've always clarified with "I don't mean all the staff".

Generalizations are honestly just so bad. 8(

First of all, you cannot prove that the CEO is the sole driving force behind these decisions. That's merely your assumption. Is he involved? Yeah. Is he the only person to blame? Highly unlikely. People are blaming Gaia as a corporate entity because, well, that is what it is. They are a collective unit and while there are individuals with differing opinions, from a professional level, each one of them represents the company as a whole and is obligated to uphold its decisions.

I also wonder what "folks" you're referring to--while there are quite a few ragey threads in SF right now, you seem to have missed all the calm, heartfelt ones that show genuine disappointment and frustration rather than crazed rage. Also, people have been trying to get Gaia's attention for weeks now. The threads started out nicely--they always do. But after having been ignored for so long, some people feel that the only thing left to do is shout at the walls in the hopes of being heard.

Most of the angry threads aren't coming from people who started out pissed off and cursing--it's gotten that way over time due to mounting frustrations and feelings of not being heard.

Finally--making a thread explicitly to give feedback to users is not allowed. I don't usually quote the rules at people but in this case, not only is this a clear violation but I honestly just can't see the value of posting an angry, accusatory thread at users in here. 8(

No, not all of the Gaians have been respectful.

You should read through some of the ATAs, and to be honest, I've seen some cuss at the moderators/staff.

I am just as upset, but you know what? The flash sales and stuff can come to a screeching halt of the Gaians QUIT BUYING STUFF ON THEIR SALES.
