Myora's Curse is not the same without Rove, even if I'm taking over his place. I mean, would you take Sasuke in Naruto's place when Naruto's gone? Maybe not.

Myora's Curse takes place in the real world. All Nek0 has to do to end the story is to primarily get rid of Rove so that he's no longer in the real world. This can be done without killing him.
