Okay, guys. I need an anime that is well written, dark, no comedy, no hentai, romance is optional
as long as it is not the focal point of the series.

Preferably a vampire/vampires/demons as the main character(s). Already seen Hellsing. Thank
you for your consideration.

Go with Casshern.

Red Garden is also a pretty good darker piece, though while it does have horror elements, it's actually more of a drama. But a pretty well-done drama, I would say.

Not all that action-packed, though.
