I live on a hill. At least 15km from the nearest river. I can confidently say that I will not get flooded out unless the Apocalypse happens (then it's a toss up between floods, fires, earthquakes or tornadoes...).

That's good to hear that you're safe and dry. I am too. I'm far enough from the river that I'm not in any danger.
Looks like things are starting to dry up now. Hopefully things will get back to normal quickly.

Calgary is typically wet May/June and then parched until about Oct/Nov when it starts to snow again. C:

And yes, I'm sure the Stampede Grounds will be ready; they're working hard at it right now.
